Devblog #2 : Dealing with RL while providing stable releases.
Hey there !
I notified the discord's curious lad yesterday that I would write some important news today.
First and foremost, after three years of inactivity, I finally found an IRL "job" it's not really a job but more of an occupation setup by the gov to help young people with their projects !
Thanks to it I'll soon be able to get an appartment, and some stability.
Now having an actual activity also means that, I have very little free time.
So how will I handle development going forward ?
A few month back I said that I'd release stable updates of various size, and it's exactly what I'm planning to do.
Betas will starting today drop every month and public releases every month as well.
Basically, starting the 26th of April I'll release the 0.11 Beta, roughly two weeks after I'll release the public build, and two weeks after that build I'll release another beta for 0.12 this time !
Basically, micro / small updates within a two week range if you're a patron and around a month for the public, keep in mind that if I'm in the middle of my script I do prefer to finish my renders, no point in cutting mid event when I can atleast give the event a proper cliffhanger (Sort of like the coming beta!)
Demon tiers will have access to it today.
Lower demons in a week.
Donators will have access to the Public build three days before it is available to everyone.
I hope that despite the small updates injection, you'll manage to enjoy the story regardless, It'll be sort of like waiting for a handful of page every month, like the Ultra Jump in Japan kinda stuff except the Autor has no talent!
If things go smoothly I'll be able to keep up with ToU and my private life.
The Beta should be available in a few hours, I am taking care of the Android build and it does take a bit of time, but it'll be ready before tomorrow !
On that note take care and I'll see patrons later for the Beta post !
