WATERDROP Maxis-Match Eyes
Was in mood for some new eye defaults, so I've created some! These here are inspired & based on my Irene eyes, with a bunch of tweaks and changes to make them more expressive, cartoon-y, less muted, and matching to the original game's aesthetic.
Things you should know:
Base game compatible.
For fem + masc frames, infant-elder.
Features a clear, gameplay-friendly sclera.
58 colors (base 18 ones + my own palette of 40)
Available as default, non default & facepaint variations.
Compatible with HQ mod, pics taken without it.
DEFAULT: Replaces the original 18 maxis colors. (you can only have 1 pair of default eyes in your game!)
NON DEFAULT: These show up at the eyes category additionally alongside default eyes, without replacing anything. The 58 colors are split up with the EA and my own palette, choose accordingly to your needs (or get both).
FACEPAINT: Under facepaint category, this package comes with all 58 colors at once.
HETEROCHROMIA: Under facepaint category. Available in all 58 colors. To be used in combination with either the default or non default packages. Please note that you can't use this at the same time with bracelet accessories, as I had to put the texture onto that space, it's a limitation within the game which I simply am not able to exceed otherwise.

Adjusted some codes of the "NonDefault_DefaultColors" package to be able to appear ingame again in case you were experiencing issues.

I TOTALLY forgot that I've made these color overlay addons for the Waterdrop Eyes, never got to upload them, but well, here they are!
Coming in the same 58 colors, under tattoos category. Use these to change the color around the pupils, and create duo-color combinations of your dreams :3

Made the DIY color overlay addon slider compatible, and also fixed it for the Businessess & Hobbies tattoo update.
The heterochromia eyes are also slider compatible now.

Resulting due to my complete overhaul of all maxis-match + occult eyesets, these files here got changed too.
The old human eye versions should still work, but I added some improvements + a new organization system, so if you redownload, please delete the older files in your mods folder, as the package names changed (from N06 to -> N04)

Hi! Thank you very much for making the CC! After I downloaded and used it today, the heterochromia part showed different forms of garbled text in many outfits. Is it no longer working?

just a heads up I think these broke with a recent update, I've been putting them on my sims and every time I change the swatch of a different cc item on the sim, the eyes change back to default base game ones. I'm using the non-default version for what it's worth.
for me they still work, that's weird? did you try redownloading them? sometimes cc goes corrupt if you leave it in your mods folder while updating your game.

aww thank you SO much, it really means so much to me! 🤍 and i am sorry, i don't share my sims. i make my sims by using CAS, the majority of cc i use is my own. i don't use facial sliders, i do everything with the tools the game provides :)

hey I think the HETEROCHROMIA on children is broken. Half of the eye is the "broken red"

whats the different between HETEROCHROMIA and DIY ADDON?
heterochromia makes both eyes have seperate colors, while the diy adds color to the inner iris

hiya, just want to let you know that the non default, default colours package file stopped my game from launching. it might have been a me issue idk but i just wanted to let you know in case other people are having the same issue or sth :) love your cc
TY! the eye package itself doesn't cause this issue. did you perhaps update your game with your mods folder inside? doing so can sometimes cause individual files to get broken. a simple redownload should fix it.
these are my most fav eyes ever, stunning everything you do is amazing tho you are very talented.

I read the read-me and I was wondering if by "they don't work with bracelet accessories" did you mean just the heterochromia or the default eyes in general?
only heterochromia. the other eyes work normally. i've put that disclaimer in the heterochromia text section for a reason, it's also on this page here :)

Is anyone else having a issue with these eyes on infants?, i put the eye color on my infant sim but the second i select another sim in cas they reset back to a ea swatch (it doesn't happen with the basegame eyes) and I'm not sure if its just infants or other younger life stages but they seem to work fine on adults, so I'm just wondering if its something in my game or if this is just something that happens?
idk if this is related or not but i have this happening with genetics for infants/toddlers/children generally in game, also in no-cc saves, i choose one in CAS and ingame they end up having another eyebrow color or something, maybe it's this issue? as the eyes themselves shouldn't add glitches like these

they still work! dazzling ones do aswell, i never changed anything about the files with the reaper bug? i think it was that one.

I've run into the issue when the game infinite loads again, from my own research it seems to be something to do with the reaper reward eyes? I've repaired the game and done a clean install of both these and the dazzling eyes for animals and its definitely the eyes that are causing it. The game hasn't updated, I just closed it and reopened it to the issue. Can you look into this please? I've read your other comments on the issue and done what you've suggested but I'm still getting the infinite load issue.
what exactly happens with the reaper eyes, what issues did you stumble upon? whether you have these or not? when they are used in a savefile? smth entirely else? i unlocked these in my own game and on 2 different devices i did not experience any loading issues?
i'm having some troubles with the heterochromia.... in formal attire and some other outfits, like swimsuit, the heterochromia eye glitches. It literally turns all yellow, it' s strange to describe it.... how can i fix it?
it's in the item description, the HC texture shares the same space with everything occupying bracelet textures, sadly you can only choose between one of them on an outfit to avoid conflicts

Are you sure it's because of the waterdrop eyes? I wasn't able to replicate that glitch.
My game LOVES waterdrop, including the heterochromia! Normally I test, then download more, but, eyes require testing, playing in cas to admire them, and THEN I can exit and download more🤣🤣🤣🤣🤩🤩🤩🤩

I'm a bit confused, i want to download the non-default and the heterochromia, but i'm usure about what files should I download, I imagine that the Pralinesims_Eyes_MM_N06_Waterdrop_NonDefault.package and the Pralinesims_Eyes_MM_N06_Waterdrop_HeterochromiaPacks.zip but what about Pralinesims_Eyes_MM_N06_Waterdrop_NonDefault_DefaultColors.package and RECOLOR-PSD_Pralinesims_Eyes_MM_N06_Waterdrop.psd what are those for?
the recolor psd is purely optional, it's a texture file if you want to add your own recolors via a graphic editing program. // the non-default default colors pack are the very base default 18 EA colors, as they're not included in the regular non default pack, bc they only consist of my color addons! hope that was helpful <3

Hello there! The HC for adult-teens is not working. Something that looks like a piece of metal covers half the eye when I try to use it. All the other HC work fine though. I hope my explanation kind of makes sense. Let me know if you'd like me to send you a picture.
Hiya! It's right here in the description. This happens because you are using them with bracelets together, sadly it's only possible for each one to be active on a sim at a time.

Could you make it possible for the other colors you created to also be added by downloading the default file?
Sadly this isn't possible, I'd advise you to get the default files + the regular non default package, this way you'll have every color ingame (with the default ones replacing + all other ones additionally available)
