FAIRY EYE ADDONS!!! (plus other stuff)
I've refreshed all my maxis-match eye sets to be able to work with the newest updates, which broke occult eyes in several ways, so this one was of course also part of it. Almost all files have been recreated from scratch. While I was also at it, the organization method also changed, don't forget to delete all old files if you have them in your mods folder, as these here have new names (from N06 to -> N04)
With this update, I also added brand new Fairy additions (Enchanted by Nature EP), plus the Reapers' Rewards eye and Ghost (Life and Death EP) swatches. Enjoy <3

Adjusted some codes of the "NonDefault_DefaultColors" package to be able to appear ingame again in case you were experiencing issues.

Making occult (replacement) eyes always stresses me out a lot, so that's one project group I usually procrastinate on, but the recent 2 weeks I found some motivation to finish all the occults for my Waterdrop eyes and well, here they are! I tweaked them a lot and finally am satisfied with their looks. In combination with the human eye set they're now a full, proper match to all of the occult categories, hope you enjoy ♥
Please note that you need the respective expansion- or game packs of the default or non default eyes, as they're only able to work when those occult states exist in your game. For each eye you need...
Alien: Get To Work (Expansion pack)
Vampire: Vampires (Game pack)
Mermaid: Island Living (Expansion pack)
Werewolf: Werewolves (Game pack)All facepaint versions of the eyes work with the basegame. You do NOT need any seperate packs for these.
DEFAULT: Replaces the original maxis colors.
NON DEFAULT: These show up at the eyes category additionally alongside default eyes, without replacing anything.
FACEPAINT: Under facepaint category. (these are the only versions that work with the basegame. For the default and non-default versions, you need the respective expansion- or game packs.)
Extra things you should know:
For fem + masc frames, infant-elder.
(unless not available for the occult category)Features a clear, gameplay-friendly sclera.
Alien eyes = 9 colors (+ an evil clone swatch)
Vampire eyes = 1 neutral, 8 glowy colors with a custom emission map
Mermaid eyes = 9 colors
Wolf eyes = 13 neutral, 4 glowy colors with a custom emission mapAvailable as default, non default & facepaint variations.
Compatible with HQ mod, pics taken without it.
So, that was a lot of info, but replacements (especially in combination with pack dependencies) can be tricky, if there is anything else you need to know, please drop a comment!

Hi, I'm experiencing issues with the fairy replacement eyes. They keep making my whole sim just disappear. I'm using the default replacement btw. I've also undownloaded all of my mods and redownloaded the eye replacements ones to check to see if it was a mod conflict and it wasn't, there's just something wrong with the file.
did you redownload my file too? on my side everything works well :(
hi, i have been using the 2024 version for ages (i love it btw) but just saw you updated with a 2025 version! do you happen to remember the name of the file for the 2024 vers? i'm struggling to find it in my mods folder when I search 'waterdrop' and 'waterdrop eyes' thanks :)
they have pretty much the same name, waterdrop was always in the file name! the major thing i've changed was the numbering, they went from 06 to 04
Hi! First of all, I love your content—I use it all the time. I wanted to let you know that I’ve been having a problem—I wanted to remove the hidden eyes, but for some reason I couldn’t find the file. When I got fed up, I deleted the entire mods folder to see if that was really the issue, and it turns out the hidden Sim eyes are already installed in my game for every Sim, but they’re your eyes from Maxis Match. Did you happen to collaborate with EA to get your content added to the game? Or is my game completely broken? Thanks for reading.
thank you sm! no i did not colleborate with ea ever, also cc eyes literally can't get stuck in the game like that. i think you're confusing the regular occult eyes with mine, these got enabled for ALL sim categories no matter if they're occult or not with the patch that introduced the enchanted by nature pack
Hello, I love your CCs but I have a tiny problem: my eyes tend to jump at my children when leaving the case. I use the non-default versions and I have all the EP/GP
hmm i don't think this is an issue with my eyes specifically, do you have any outdated mods? the recent patches pretty much left quite a havoc

Hi! I don't have these installed but it somehow still shows up in my game. Are they included in any of your other ultimate collections files by any chance?
They are not. Don't forget that occult eyes are now available for all life states since a few patches ago.
These are gorgeous! Possibly a stupid question, but is the flower swatch on the fairy eyes different in the face paint version? I don't have the pack yet, so I can't compare them.
TY! it is indeed different, the fairy eye version is glowy (the flower part), facepaint is not, so the raw file is there without glow, but i can add the extra flower swatch in a future update :)
I was wondering if this set includes the animals from cottage living and horse ranch. These are gorgeous

Hi~ I don't know if I'm using these wrong, but most of the fairy swatches make my sims turn invisible. I tried redownloading and removing all my other mods but it still doesn't work. I also think some of the face paint swatches don't show up like they should cause I can't find the one with the pink flower in the iris (I was so excited to use that one lol or are those eyes not part of the face paints?).
I'm having the same problem, is this still happening for anyone else?

very welcome!! <3 and sadly not only, i had to create completely new files for the non-default versions as these went broken with the enchanted by nature pack update, wasn't possible any other way :(
hi!! thank you for the update! i wanted to ask, if these are applied in-game already, for eyes that are applied via face paint etc, will they need to be reapplied as the file names are new?
face paint eyes don't need to be reapplied ingame, they will be applied automatically as all changes in those have been internally :)

Hello, for some reason, when I try to use these eyes on fairies, they reset to a random eye color every time I enter live mode. The eyes work correctly for every other occult, but not for fairies. Do you know why this is happening?
The game is handling occult eyes in a different way now, and my eyes have been not updated yet to work on fairies. Please be patient while I'm working on a fix, occult eyes have to be recreated from scratch to be able to work again properly.
hii! i just downloaded they eyes and im so in love. im having a small issue where even with the occult defaults installed, some of the base game occult eyes are still displaying as options for human and occult sims, about 20 of them. i didnt know if that was to be expected or not? if its always like that its so chill, i just wasnt sure if i installed them improperly? thank you!
thanks so much!!! and that's actually not an issue pertaining to my occult eyes (or ANY occult eyes at this point), it's one of the features of the recent game updates which enables almost all eye colors ever for any life state, for example humans can use alien colors now, vampires the mermaid colors, etc..., so nothing's wrong on your end! :) regardless of that, occult eye colors need a new update in the future anyways, because of the changes directly in the game, the system on how they work is kinda different now. i'll roll out an update in the future once i'll find a way to properly fix them, as the changes were quite extensive.
Will you be updating these for the July 1st patch? (I'm also crossing my fingers that you'll be adding some fairy eyes but no pressure obviously!)
i will, i'll probably wait until the pack will drop to ensure everything will work without any problems cause new occult categories prettyyy much always mess up something T_T
if i have the treasure eyes as a default for non-occult sims, will these work for my occult sims or do i have to have the default non-occult sims for these to work? i love both, i just prefer the treasure eyes for my human sims!!
these are stand alone, use them how you like!! <3
Have these been fixed for the reapers rewards event? They're my favourite eyes, I can't live without them!

Just got the hang of using the glowing version. I thought I did something wrong somewhere when I saw the eyes. I was like 'Umm..surely I installed it right!' XD Thanks :D \o/
they didn't work for you before? i know there's some issues with the emission maps currently for the whole of sims 4 (for the game itself AND cc T_T), but glad to hear they work now? <3
These are new favorite default eyes. Love that there is human plus occult versions!

glad you like them!! <3 and probably, yes. creating the base versions of the eyes already kinda burnt me out, and in order to be able to publish them i kept all addons for the future in mind!
