Occult Eyes WIP

Heeey, hello! Currently I am in the process of making new packages from scratch on, and also reworking all my maxis match series default + occult eyesets (reason why: the patch for the Enchanted By Nature pack completely changed the way occult eyes work, one of the changes being that regular human sims can have these too now, so the old packages sadly just don't cut it anymore and simple value changes/batch fixes do. not. work. it's PAINFUL to say the least lol)

Anyway, while I'm at it I've also decided to finish a project which I've started a few months ago: adding occults to all my MM default eyesets! Meaning, Oasis, Dazzling Light, Treasure, Waterdrop and Oxygen. When the occult eyes recently got broken I was lowkey glad I didn't manage to finish all of them, as these would all have been to be recreated YET ANOTHER TIME. Sooo, I dodged a bullet in a way? Heh.

There's also some other changes, mainly in the numbering system bc I initially messed these up when I first started out with making maxis-match eyes some years ago. Oasis was the first one, and then sometime later followed a mostly Oasis-unrelated alien eye replacement which I've named N02 back then, and afterwards the Oasis Vampyr version, which was N03. Cause of this, for example, the Dazzling Light eyes are N04, which actually should be N02, and so on... Again, this was all planned with my revamp project from some months ago, I am really glad I'm finishing it now. It just feels more complete.

So, while I am suffering because it is countless hours of work spent, but on the other side I am also enjoying it because I love the results sooo much. The pics shown here in this post are some of the example swatches, there's really a looot of swatches, but I picked a few ones so you'll get a small feeling for what's to come.

Each of my former mentioned human eye sets will receive Alien, Vampire, Mermaid, Werewolf, Ghost, Reaper Rewards & also Fairy swatches! I am done with most texture categories so far, Treasure Werewolf I have JUST finished making like an hour ago, so for the werewolf category, only Oxygen is left to do. Once these are done, the Ghost and Fairy swatches will follow next. The fairy eyes miiight take a bit to do because they're new categories and I'll still need to get a feel for them, have a ton of variations (18 ones! I am impressed for eyes by the game, they have super cute designs) AND I have to make them for 5 eyesets. But I am hoping I will finish them very soon. Aiming for a release this week, but I am not guaranteeing anything due to circumstances & real life.

Another thing to add: pet eyes are not included within this revamp. I am sorry to say this, but slowly but surely I am getting sick of looking at eye textures, since the fairies pack dropped I have just been handling them sooo often and I need a lil break from them. After I finished the tattoo updates recently, I've barely done anything else in my freetime, but nonstop fixing eyes. But they will follow some time in future. Just need a 'lil break from eyes. ♥
