Is that yellow line in the last panel of the previous comic La'Ni flying after the ship? Is that why she is in the way?
I’m a little confused, does Quel outrank the captain of the ship? The relation of the Marshals to the “navy” has never really been clear.
The relationship is probably meant to be fuzzy, so a Marshall can walk into any room and shout "WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?" and have all the authority they need.
OMG, what a mess!!! Brilliant!!! Never seen a comic convey that much suspense!!!
Ergh....sometimes I think I need to wait for the comics to accumulate so I can read more at a time. This is like watching an action movie with commercial breaks every 5 minutes!
Also - he kinda fits the character mold of the last two federation people who committed major treason.
His insistence on destroying the ship, even with their personnel on, rather than letting it leave makes it seem like his orders aren't really coming from the Federation.
I can KIND of see both sides? They can blow up the ship and find the starcaster in the debris. I don't think he's a bad guy, just a kiss-up that hasn't realized the middle manager that told him to take the caster to a random drop point isn't actually on his side.
