I was right about her being on board might help us not immediately getting shot down but it's even worse than I thought - now we have to talk down this distressed and irrational individual who is now in the position to gravely injure Nyrah, and we have to do be before La'Ni catches up or Speck says screw it and warps which would cause the Avisar to deliberately (or unintentionally) fatally wound Nyrah We've managed to dodge getting characters killed a few times - lets see how we handle this one

Enlisted ranks can never outrank officer ranks - officially, that is. Reputation and respect is another thing and La'Ni likely has a lot more respect than douchebag captain
