Starcaster Lore
My collection of individual documents/notes regarding Starcaster worldbuilding has been getting a little unwieldy the last couple of years, and so I've been looking to move to a better system for organization. I finally made the move this past week and started setting up on World Anvil.
I'll be slowly sorting and moving my notes over, and the system allows me to give people access, so I figured you, the Starcaster Patrons, are the sort of people who'd be interested in any extra lore/worldbuilding.
This is by no means a finished product, or particularly comprehensive. It is first and foremost a way for me to keep some notes/dates straight for reference. I will add to it when I can, flesh out what I need to flesh out, and if I have some extra time, perhaps I'll flesh out some of the stuff that doesn't necessarily need to be expanded upon re: my storytelling reference, but could be fun to have anyway.
Maybe I'll take requests once a month for some part of the lore to expand upon.
To access the Starcaster world, you'll need to sign up for a free World Anvil account, and use this Patron-only access code.

A lot of content is linked, but inaccessible. I don't see any index other than the one limited to three entries, map (which is inaccessible) and timeline (which has links, some of which are inaccessible). FWIW, here's a list of time units converted to Earth time: 1 Xiliteck = 1 Second 1 Teckon (Teck) = 100 seconds (1 minute 40 seconds) 1 Vall = 10,000 seconds (2 hours 46 minutes 40 seconds) 1 Cycle = 250,000 seconds (2 days 21 hours 26 minutes 40 seconds) 1 Eedot = 2,000,000 seconds (23 days 3 hours 33 minutes 20 seconds) 1 Lunet = 64,000,000 seconds (740 days 17 hours 46 minutes 40 seconds, ca. 2 Earth years 40 minutes 22 seconds) 1 Chryon = 10 Lunets (about two decades plus 102 days) 1 Decavale = 10 Chryons (about two centuries plus 2 years and 293 days) 1 Centivale = 100 Chryons (about twenty centuries plus 28 years) 1 Cycle could have easily stayed decimal (10 Valls), adding up to 1 day 3 hours 46 minutes and 40 seconds, would have probably been more intuitive. Or a Xiliteck could have been 0.6 or 0.36 of a second, then Teckon would have been equal to a minute or Vall would have been equal to an hour.

I would love to see a write-up on the different expletives used in your universe (ie. Fiery Nebula). Would love to know which ones are more vulgar, and where their origins came from. :)
Very nice. The first of impression of the WA page isn't great, though.... renders weird and full of ads.
Oh I didn't know that. It doesn't show me any ads. Renders weird how, though?
Way cool! Thanks, Tim!
Lost my Multipass 😎
Cool :))
Mimion Hug!? Is this a TRAP!?
