Original cover here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXm0lQKduZk&list=RDtXm0lQKduZk, but I thought I would make a new reference vid for the solo.

The three guitar layers on the pre chorus of Love Bites. This one specifically on the last pre chorus of the song. Def Leppard - Love Bites (Guitar Orchestration Example) (YouTube)

Notation notes for my cover. Whenever I do this era of Survivor, I use a 'Blues Driver' type overdrive to make it a little thinner. Survivor - I Can't Hold Back (Guitar Cover) (YouTube)

It's been requested that I notate how the guys are playing on this recent tour, so I thought I'd start with the epic. My main reference video for the intro and Viv's solo was the Glasgow show, which you can find here ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvREzwzmIgM&list=RDQvREzwzmIgM&start_radio=1 ). T

Here's the flanger settings, which I think is key to this tone and it should be put after the amp I suspect, and also the notation for the solo and verse variations from Steve. Def Leppard - Love Bites - Tone Chasing (YouTube)

Notation notes for my very old cover. Def Leppard - Gift of Flesh (GUITAR COVER) (YouTube)

Notation notes for my old cover. I like this song and think it could've benefitted from a heavier guitar mix. It sounds great live from this performance - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZZ1ABEciJo&list=RDTZZ1ABEciJo&start_radio=1 Def Leppard - You're So Beautiful (GUITAR COVER) (YouTube)

Requested notation notes to go with my old cover. I speed the song up to standard in the video so the tab is in standard also. Tune to Eb for the record version. Here's also a little video showing some of Phil's licks in the solo and where I saw the fret/finger placement for the vid. ( https://www.y

After a couple more weeks of letting the muscle memory build, I feel this is a better example of the outro solo to go along with the notation in the original post. (Original post - https://www.patreon.com/bwm5150/posts/toto-hydra-live-162252529 )

Notation notes for the solo on this one. George Benson - No One Emotion (Michael Sembello Solo) (YouTube)

Notation notes for my cover here. I found it really hard to notate out some of Luke's parts, and also incredibly hard to imitate him in playing too. Use the notation for solo and find certain checkpoints to land on and fill in the rest in between. TOTO - Hydra - Live '35th Anniv. Tour' (Guitar Cover

Updated notation and ref vid for the solo. Again, it took a while to rebuild the muscle memory, and to learn the new way to play some of the licks, so take your time with it. It goes by fast! :) Original cover here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ-I2q49d4U&list=RDwZ-I2q49d4U

HD video for the solo and slight update on the notation too. It took me some time to rebuild the muscle memory for this. So, even with having the notation in front of me and the knowledge that I have played it before, it still took some practice to get down. I hope that can be encouraging if you are

Another to go with an old cover. I may to an updated solo video for reference. Def Leppard - Answer To The Master (GUITAR COVER) (YouTube)

Notation notes for my old cover here. I think the parts still stand up but looking at some of my older vids, I'm going to make some new reference vids for some of these solos from the first album. Def Leppard - Sorrow Is A Woman (GUITAR COVER) (YouTube)

Notation notes for my redo of this one. Some changes in the parts and also has the included outro orchestra bit too. Peter Cetera - Big Mistake (Huff Guitar Cover - Revisited) (YouTube)

Notation Notes for my cover. Planet 3 - Welcome To Love (Guitar Cover) (YouTube)

Basic demo showing how the chorus' build up to give that desired 'schmo' tone. The Parallelizer pedal allows three stereo FX loops. FX1 is the Micropitch from the Eventide Pitchfactor, set to a Michael Landau preferred setting. FX2 is the Free The Tone Tri Avatar for Tri Chorus, then that feeds in s

For those who are having trouble with the Boss BCK series of Solderless Cables. I was anxious after ordering them as they have some mixed reviews but I have found all of mine to be working great! If you are struggling, I offer some tips and things to look and listen out for. I hope it helps! Backgro

Hi folks, I hope all is well! I'm just finishing up a busy spell with my day job(s) and teaching so should be able to get back into the videos and notating proper. I had hoped to manage it better but my time off has been limited. I was able to focus on another project during that time though, and th

Notation notes for my cover here. Bee Gees - You Win Again (Guitar Cover) (YouTube)

Notation for my video showing how the DSS solo was recorded by Steve. Def Leppard - Steve Clark - Don't Shoot Shotgun - Solo Demonstration (YouTube)

Just the solo here as I'm not sure if I will do a full cover of it yet. Not a lot of guitar, but when there is, it's pretty sweet from Luke with his signature wide bends and stretchy licks.

Notation notes for my cover. The Tubes - Tip of My Tongue (Guitar Cover) (YouTube)

Here's the reference video for the Mirrorball solo too.

I've covered two different eras here as I like the main solo ending from 2011 Mirrorball but the newer outro he has been doing, such as this one from Leadmill.

I'm going transcribe a few of Viv's live solos over the next week, mainly the ones he is doing in place of Steve. I think he has a tough job of hitting all the trademark melodies Steve created while also making it his own. It's a fun challenge to 'relearn' some of these solos and have new elements i

Here's a little video briefly showing the process I would take in trying to build muscle memory for a tricky lick. I hope it helps! (Please excuse the metronome being off which I think is due to the limitations of my recording and re-routing audio software. I will look for another solution in future

A little video to help with the tapping style of Reb, with the example from Rainbow in the Rose. Let me know if it helps!

Notation notes for my cover. I'm going to make a little vid on the tapping technique too. Winger - Rainbow in the Rose (Guitar Cover) (YouTube)

For a better example of the solo being played, check out my recent 'Solos of Euphoria' video here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dejDWhuzVy0 Also, for a better example of the riff right before Viv's solo, check out my Instagram video here - https://www.instagram.c
