Monday Update #39 | Thank you!
Update 0.4 will be released at the end of the week. Nothing changing there. But now I have to say a few words to thank everyone. In my last Dev Log I spoke about taking more time to get my work done and how I wasn't sure what the best approach would be.
The feedback I got was very reassuring and I thank you all for the trust you are putting into my work. See this as a reply to all your posts, I didn't want to write the same thing to everyone, just repeating myself. Your words made it clear that I can relax and put the quality of the game first. Knowing that there is no final deadline makes it much easier to be creative and more relaxing in general. But as I already said before, I will still look for a balance of quality and speed. Now to the more interesting parts.
Everything new:
I've added a few more tiles for the dungeon.
In addition I made 25 new Animations and there is still one missing that I will have to do later this week.
The second scene and a third one for Mia's morale raising are animated and rendered.
The dialogue is completely finished.
The new dungeon fully coded.
I am halfway done with the new girl.
The second grammar/spelling pass on the script is also done.
A few new soundeffects were added.
I am almost finished. But there is a bit of work left to do. I need to animate 1 aditional scene (4 in total). I need to finish the new girl. I need to make one larger animation and then I will check for bugs, spelling mistakes etc.

Im happy you got to relax a bit, keep up the good work! This is a very unique game and i love the style and design, not to mention the story is pretty great. Just glad to be here for the ride, if it takes a bit longer to keep the quality where its been, im good with that.
All the support you get is fully deserved. You work hard and you seem to really care about the game. Polls are good in theory, but are bad practically speaking. Having one with kinks even worse as it could potentially prove quite destructive to the overall game. Having something of a plan and steadily being able to realize said plan is way more constructive. The thing you did with the open commentary on the releases is still the best option in my opinion. If you have any considerations for kinks in the far future and a bit of a story behind. Like how it would fit with the lore/how the MC would meet that person etc. , without revealing/spoiling too much. Making a post asking people would feel about that seems like the better idea.
Don't worry, I have a plan and I am not just changing it to suit every requst. But I think it could be good to know what everyones interests are and to look for interesting ideas I might have missed otherwise.
I'm curious if there's any option or poll or way to discuss potential kinks to be involved? I know this is kind of a can of worms to open up since everyone wants their kinks to be considered.
I guess I could do that in the future. Maybe just to hear suggestions without promising to do them. As you already said it is probably impossible to deliver on everything. The idea is good.
