Monday Update #20

We've reached #20 and development is still going smoothly, even though I've encountered a temporary motivational low.

 Everything new:

• I made all sprites for the first girl. She has 9 expressions and all are animated.

• The backgrounds got their night versions.

• I found a bunch of good tracks to have some nice background music.

• Soundeffects are also beeing implemented, with a whole bunch of scene specific unique sounds.

• The first scene is complete. Of course fully animated

• I began to actually assemble the loose parts and have coded about 25% of the first episode.

• I began to experiment with jiggle physics. But there is nothing final, as I will have to see if my PC can handle it in an actual animation.

• I finished a 1 minute intro movie for the game. I may even post it here on Patreon in the future, because it is sfw and Patreon won't complain. (I'll still have a few tweeks to do before that though.)

I actually didn't realize how much stuff I got done these past 2 weeks. As I wrote at the top, I got a bit stuck and it felt like I didn't do anything. Writing this is really insightfull.

But I'll have to be honest. The current speed of development is a bit too much for me. it was possible because I had all of my vacation days for this year left and pretty much spent the last month at home. 

But I will have to slow down a bit in the future. I am giving this game my all, as I really like what I am doing and think this will be something really good. That said, I wanted to give the new CoD a chance and now have at max 15 hours of playtime.
