Night-Runners Private Alpha v2,9757 Update Log + Dev Update

Hi everyone! It’s been a chaotic month of work, but there’s a lot to update you all on.

This update includes the S14 Zenki and S14 Kouki, both fully playable, along with 4 new buyable garages in Mount Haruna.

At the start of June, we brought on two new full-time developers: a senior developer and a junior developer. It took some time to set up the collaboration environment and get everything onboarded, but things have been running smoothly since.

The senior developer has already improved loading screen times, and the junior developer has been pushing hard on importing new cars.

We currently have 5 more cars around 90% complete, which will be coming within the next 30 days, with many more to follow. With these additions, we can start rolling out new crews, which will come shortly after the cars they use are finished.

Oi Wharf is progressing well. Final import should begin within the next 30 days. We’re currently placing containers and building out region-specific traffic. A container truck you can drive under is also being added.

Within the next 10 days, a new car will also be added: “Tobimizu Wasp”.

The update is available now. If your itch.io launcher is set up correctly, it will download automatically.

It’s highly recommended to get the launcher set up properly to receive updates easily. It’s not perfect, but it’s worth it given how frequently the Private Alpha will be updated.
