Star Wars: The Clone Wars (FULL MOVIE REACTION)

Duuude, this is so nostalgic for me, as a kid, I had a portable DVD player in my mom's car and would watch this movie on repeat. It's so cool to see you enjoyed this movie, it's definitely a top 5 movie for me

youre weird bro. your friend told you she was a child, she looks likke a child, you keep saying youre refraining from sexual jokes, and then you start asking about er species and development? yeah youre closeted for sure.

Alright between us and the editor, we gotta get it through Alex’s head that Chancellor Palpatine (toucan) and Emporer Palpatine (ballsack) are the same exact person playing double sides… he even watched episode 3 and he still seems to have a hard time connecting the dots on this issue. So yes, obviously all of his remarks will be obvious

is it just me or is his reactions to events in the movie a little ahead of the timestamp?

Loved watching the videos with you and can't wait for you to go through this amazing show

Alex, Alex.. Alex I can 100% forgive the Grevious and Dooku mix up but I can not forgive you not know R2 can fly! xD That little droid had a whole scene in Attack of The Clones where he flies around the droid making factory saving everyone's asses! And you slept on that! My dude.. R2 gets overlooked enough! I think you need to apologise for this to be honest... although you did notice that R2 does save everyones life in every movie and show so I think I can forgive you for now xD hahaha love your content! <3

I joined Patreon hoping you were going to do CW reactions and I am thrilled to watch along with you. I only watched these for the first time a couple years ago and the amount of meaningful themes and just quality storylines throughout really got me hooked. The later seasons in particular are outstanding. Captain Rex quickly became a standout character for me and I hope you get to love him too!

(this is more for aaron than alex) i looked at the watch order provided in the last post and i 100% agree with it, it hits everything in a satisfying order and i think alex will absolutely love this series

I see padawan need one last lesson.

Funfact, because this had a theatrical release, the actors that voiced Mace Windu, Palpatine, and Dooku, were the same as the live action. So that's actually Samual J lol Also, this originally were going to be their first couple episodes of the show, but Lucas decided to combine them and release them as a movie.

Once you've watched Clone Wars, the next series (live action) should be The Mandalorian & The Book of Boba Fett.... these both also casually lead into the Ahsoka series.

I really really REALLY wish we could hear the audio. Especially since I like to listen to these almost like a podcast while I'm at work, and I prefer the YouTube uploads more cuz we can hear the audio from show/movie, etc.

I CANT WAIT till you get to the later seasons. dont get me wrong the start is good but the later seasons are literally PEAK fiction.

the reaction is faster than the video

Lore point of fact, grievous was trained by dooku

You asked Do we get a backstory for ahsoka? this is it, to a certain degree the clone wars is her story.

Here's a super fun fact about the pink r2 unit, that is r2-kt, named after a young girl Katie who had cancer.

As others have probably already mentioned, the reason for watching those two other episodes is they set up this one. The first season of clone wars is okay, but it really starts to get very linear and the stories follow on each other in season 2 moving forward.

Reaction is a bit ahead of video

Any one else feel like the reaction is ahead of the video. I am matched perfectly with the audio and video presented and he is reacting to sceans several seconds before it happens

A bit of added context: Anakin hates the Hutts because they were the ones who enslaved him.

Uhh why is it muted I came for the full reaction

In complete honesty, I was sad that you started the Clone Wars before finishing all the films. But I’m also excited for your journey through this series! It has some really great moments and lays the ground work for a lot of the later series. And to answer the question on your last video, I definitely would’ve preferred a live action Clone Wars. It was totally not feasible at the time but it would’ve meant we had Ewan McGregor and Temuera Morrison instead of wish.com Obi-Wan and clones 😂 terrible accents.

Wow, Alex! I really enjoyed this one. Not gonna lie, I was super concerned that this was going to just be a children's story Star Wars movie but it turned out to be a whole lot more. :) Quality stuff!!

I can't wait for you to reach season 3 and later!

if you're happy with the animation now, i can't wait for you to see what it looks like in the later seasons. the final arc of clone wars is probably one of my favorite pieces of Star Wars content ever, and it's got genuinely cinematic-level art and animation. but there's still so much to love in this show even from the beginning, and Ashoka quickly became one of my most favorite Star Wars characters of all time. super excited to see your clone wars journey!

That's not a hat on Ahsoka's head. It's more like a Crest on a bird or a Frill on a Triceratops.

Is it just me or is his video audio out of sync? Timed it perfectly but when he's reacting to a scene, its way off from what i am viewing.

Well, damn, glad to hear you enjoyed the movie because I don’t even think it’s that good. Even the animation is quite rough. If you held this in such high regard, you are gonna absolutely LOVE the later seasons of the show.

If u loved this ur gonna cream urself come season 3

Yaaay, I've been waiting all day for this. So excited for your Clonewars journey Alex.

So beyond excited for this series. I grew up with this show and it is truely a masterpiece that has rippled through the rest of the star wars universe ever since its end

Honestly I'm really excited. Rex and Ahsoka were my favorite additions to Star Wars and I love how they bring out the more positive qualities of Anakin.

Will these reactions eventually be on YouTube?

You really enjoyed the film? Oh yeah you’ll LOVE the show. Fuck yeah can’t wait till we get to some of the crazy arcs.

Yoo im the first to comment!! Cant wait to watch!!
