Star Wars: Clone Wars - S1E16 - "The Hidden Enemy" (FULL EPISODE REACTION)

why is it blurred out??

I’d stick with it being cartoon. I love this animation style. My favorite tv show of all time.

"All these guys look alike"... Alex not realizing the show is called... THE CLONE WARS... like.... all the soldier guys are clones of Jango Fett... you know, from episode 2... Camino... the weird ass stretchy people? lol I love the series so far... and Alex your innocence is so endearing at times...

I just can't wait for Alex's reaction to one character riding another character which as a young man I screamed at the screen when I saw it xD... oh and I know that sounds dirty but it's actually not.. (Sorry Alex) xD

As for them not using the force more. If a Jedi was to just 'spam' the Force for lack of a better word. they'd end up tired pretty quickly. Jedi tend to mostly use the force in more subtle ways, Increasing their acrobatic abilities, and heightening their reflexes so they can deflect blaster bolts. If they ran around just, blasting everyone and everything down that got in their way, especially in such long form battles as appear in this show, they'd burn through their "reserves" really fast, and end up exhausted

I like you Alex and i think you are one of the best reactors on Youtube..... BUT PLEASE YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP SOMETIMES AND JUST WATCH THE SHOW. You forgetting about Padme just fucking broke me. Your personality and your analysis of the shows you are watching are great and it's one of the main reasons your channel is so good to watch, but not when you are watching shows where the smallest details matter. I love you and i will still be a patreon probably forever but you have to talk less and really start focusing on the plot of the stuff you are watching. I'm not telling you what to do of course [ i mean... i am but not really xD ] but it's just so fucking painful that you are missing even the most obvious things. By the way im saying this out of love, not hatred or anything like that. <3 I know you are reading the comments sooo im begging you to stop talking so much. Again.... love you dude <3

Good stuff, Alex!

"Anakin needs a love interest in this show" Did bro really just forget about Padme?

I checked out the cheat sheet. If I counted correctly it looks like every episode is included. I'll assume that apisodes are priced together to include details from previous seasons. Maybe it fits better for YouTube content? If all the episodes are still being included I would just watch them chronologically. You don't seem all the into the order chosen. Maybe the order chosen. Helps avoid the dry spells in the series? I fell off the show several times before I finished it. I started it over at least 3 times trying to get it done

The don't feel like a live action clone wars series would have lasted as long as the animation did.

Dee Bradley Baker is the MVP of this series, not only is he an accomplished voice actor already, he voices every since Clone in this series, and he doesn't give them all the same voice, he changes pitch and tone while using the same voice to give them personality and texture. It's so good.

I like the animation. I think it would lose a lot if it was done live action.

In the first few seasons of The Clone Wars, the stories weren't always in chronological order. Sometimes they'd do a prequel after an episode & such so broadcast order isn't always story order As for a live action Clone Wars, that would've been awesome but insanely expensive, especially at the time. Animation allowed them to do things a live action TV budget wouldn't permit

Nah, the animation is a little rough at the beginning and gets steadily better, but there are just some things you can't do live action that you can with animation. I love it how it is.

Some contextual information, if Aaron hasn't let you know already: * The Clone Wars movie + tv show lasted for 5 seasons on Cartoon Network, from 2008-2013. This is why perhaps the animation isn't as good as you may be used to (older animation). In 2014, a sixth season was released on Netflix (Disney bought LucasFilm in 2012). The final, seventh season was released on Disney+ in 2020. This was the only season developed by Disney. The animation does get better. * A name you may hear often is "Dave Filoni". He previously worked on Avatar the Last Airbender and George Lucas hired him as a supervisory director for this show. Filoni has lead the animated effort (and some live action work recently) since Disney bought LucasFilm. People consider him George Lucas 2.0 or at the very least, GL's protégé. * This show, like many other Star Wars shows, loves to connect the dots between all of its media. For example, in the first episode of the show that you watched, Bail Organa said "Help us Obi-Wan Kenobi, you are our only hope", which is exactly what Leia said in "Star Wars: A New Hope". Be on the look out for those moments (the comments will let you know) and also be sure to hear those musical cues. Kevin Kiner creates the sound track for this show and he is the next best person to create Star Wars music, next to John Williams.

The only thing I disagree on is a maybe for Video 11 and 13, they should be a Yes. Everything else I would agree on more or less But besides that I’m glad you’re doing chronological order, and I’m so looking forward to these reactions!

We'll just have to see how the first episode does on YT since half the Patrons don't even want CW on Patreon

Seems like he is going in chronological order so it’s great!
