Gravity Falls | S2 E8 | "Blendin's Game" | (UNEDITED)

WHY THE FUCK DOES THIS SHOW KEEP MAKING ME FEEL BAD FOR SOOS?! 馃槶 It literally breaks my heart.
I thought we were about to get some goofy ass time travel episode with Blendin coming back for revenge, and then suddenly we're learning why Soos hates his birthday because his dad kept promising to come see him AND NEVER FUCKING SHOWED UP. Fucking douchebag, scum of the earth, asshole, deadbeat, dickwhisperer, ass face dad.
And then what Dipper and Mabel did for him and then WHAT HE DID FOR THEM!?!? Dude. This show is so much deeper and more emotional than anybody told me it would be.
Also, seeing how Soos originally ended up at the Mystery Shack with Stan at the end was such a perfect little touch. That made their entire relationship hit differently for me. But to be real, that time loop shit with time travel still really fucks with my brain.
I FUCKING LOVE SOOS. I would die for him.

I believe that if Mabel and Dipper wished for Soo's dad back on his birthday, drastic changes would have happened because he never would have gone to the Mystery Shack. After all, he'd be too focused on his dad, he'd never have begun working for Stan, and then Stan wouldn't have had that relationship and become the person he is from that. It could have snowballed all the way to Dipper and Mabel potentially never even being in Gravity Falls. Time travel is a very messy subject, honestly.
if u noticed soos said some genius tought him the vending machine trick then dipper and mabel go back in time and bcz old soos showed mabel the trick she showed young soos so the genius that tought him was mabel and the red screwdriver soos always carries was from dipper fixing the time travel tape measure when it broke
Please watch Rick & Morty馃槀, It hasn't been as good since Roiland was let go but the first 6 seasons, at the least, are great and i think you would enjoy the weirdness and pop culture references.
man alex really has to watch rick and morty...

Yes. And hoping that Alex doesn鈥檛 see this, Gravity Falls is actually canon to Rick and Morty. It鈥檚 hard to explain rn, but just know that both shows exist to each other

This episode is just another excuse to someday watch Rick and Morty. It鈥檚 peak. Even if ppl say it fell off past S2 I still love it

This episode especially the globnar section really reminded me of Tron Legacy and I think that鈥檚 another movie Alex whould check out
That ending with Soos and Stan is probably my most favorite flashback besides another future Stan flashback.
