Quick progress update!

Dove into skill checks for the stealth system. This is going to take a bit of trial and error. I'm using UE5's built in perception system to generate events that the NPC player controller picks up as notifications. So I need to figure out what works better, limiting the size + scope of those events, maybe a dice roll so that they don't fire off at all, or doing the check on the individual NPCs when they receive the notification. Dunno yet. So I'm in the process of testing out limiting the radius of the perception notification right now and we'll see how it goes.

The sculpt for the leather armor is all finished up and I'll get started on the lowpoly and textures later on this week.

And it's been a bit of a slow week because I had a terrible IRL emergency pop up. So I've been trying to cope with that. But the good news is I'll be back at my regular desktop later this coming week and back to burying myself in working on Feign as a completely healthy and normal coping/escape mechanism ;)

Oh oh almost forgot. I started adding the scripting hooks for adding audio to the player and human NPCs during animations. The next step is finding voice clips and sounds of similar lengths then I'll be able to let the player choose a voice pack during character creation!
