Prey actually suffered because they didn’t change the name in my case. I got the first one and hated it when it came out; the deranged spirit quest aspect was so jarring I couldn’t stick with it. Then Prey 2 came out and I specifically skipped it because of the first one + the marketing gave no indicator it had literally no resemblance beyond the name.
Now that the remake is out I am hoping for a system shock 1 episode
