đœ Cleaning Up the House in Paralives
Cleaning the bathroom and kitchen will be a lot more fun in Paralives than in real life (because obviously, itâs not hard to beat). Alejandro recently added features to the game so that using the toilets, baths, showers, kitchen counters, etc, make them dirty. Parafolks can then perform the âCleanâ interaction. Hereâs a quick demo GIF:

âš Introducing a New Character
As teased in last weekâs build mode showcase post, we are working on something pretty cool. To go along with that, we created a brand new townie and her name is Anisa!
Anisa just moved into town and has a talent for music đ”. Weâre looking forward to sharing more about her!

In our continuous efforts to add various images that players can select for picture frames in build mode, ChloĂ© et LĂ©a recently surprised the team by drawing everyoneâs pets and adding them to the game!
Thereâs even Paralivesâ iconic Bernese Mountain dog in the middle!

I just realized that this hair is probably the most accurate to my old hairstyle that I have ever seen. Itâs always been so hard for me to find a hairstyle in any game that looks like mine since my hair is not wavy but it not super curly either. Idk it just makes me happy knowing that I could make my younger self in this game and that there will be a hair that will match very well. Not exactly of course but thatâs because I had very long hair and that would probably be very hard to make work in a 3D game haha.

Is that post card art riminizant of what's in the game? Are we getting picnic baskets?
Not everything on the illustration of the postcard will be in the game. I agree that it would be great to add picnic baskets eventually though!
Will Black Paraâs be able to have natural curly hair?
Yes! We will have different curly and coily hairstyles. Also, the genetics system will consider that when two parents have a child
How weird is it that I want all those artsy pet frames irl đ
Very exciting, and Anisa looks great! I'm just wondering - is it possible to adjust the intensity of the shadows and outlines of the hair, in the same way you can adjust the outlines for the characters? Personally, I think the hair looks great in a darker colour, but starts to look a bit blocky in the lighter colours. I think that would be countered by being able to make the shadows and outlines slightly darker, giving the hair a bit more definition. ALSO (and this is probably a bit pedantic xD) I wonder whether the underside of the hair should be a bit darker than the rest of the hair? In real life, I would imagine this area would naturally be a bit more shadowed. With Anisa's hair, we are able to see the underside of her hair (around her neck in particular), and it is clearly the same colour as the rest of her hair. This is a minor thing, but it does look a little odd to me. I wonder whether making this area slightly darker would add a bit more depth to the hair, and look a little more natural. It would also make the lack of detail on the underside less noticeable. But again, all in all, Anisa looks great and I can't wait to learn more about her!

If you say so because of Anisa+ the guy, think it isn't related to transition, because they have different eyes (Anisa's are darker)
