I love him soo much i didn't think he would be this good! I'm gonna try to guess what the kid looks like. I was hoping he would have a daughter but i think its a son so here's my guess. Hes a 4-7 year old (needs to remember Lucas) and his fave colour is blue. He likes drawing and especially loves boats, sailing and the sea (probably what his room looks like) and probably loves fishing with dad (the aroma from the room) and maybe has dreams of one day being a pirate on an adventure and finding treasure! Looks- Ginger-brown hair and idk? maybe he likes drinking water? -whatcha think? 😄😀
I got banned from the discord, but didn’t get to know why, I know I got like 5 warnings, but I didn’t get a message or any response when I got banned. I didn’t do anything wrong and I followed the rules, nobody told me I did something wrong, this must be a mistake!
If you got more then 2 warnings, you knew what the warnings said, and continued to not listen to them. 💀😭

this is amazing!!!! i’m just wondering if they will have any more shading, or are the paras done? the problem is that i can barely see the nose when it’s a front view, and the body has no shading to show any texture to the body. and with no facial shading, i worry the faces will all look the same. either way i’m blown away at how good sebastian looks

i really don't mind the cartoonish look if the sims 4 has taught me anything its that i will take amazing detailed immersive game play over aesthetics and graphics any day. Yes the sims looks great but.......God its boring and repetitive

I really like the characters, but I'd like to see better faces, perhaps a bit more realistic. They look too cartoonish. But again congratulations it looks awesome already.
I love himmmmm!!! (Tell me why this is exactly my type of guy) Also the mirror options are so stinkin' cool definitely shows us how much personality you guys are putting into the game
i love sebastian so much!! also this is just my personal opinion, but i think it would like nicer if the eyes had some highlight to them. like they're really reflecting the light of the surroundings. right now, i think the lack of highlight makes it looks a bit flat.
I kinda feel like his eyes are a little too big and hips too narrow, but maybe it's a matter of habit

Great work, as always! I think the outline for the chosen style (like, when you have clicked a shirt for example) should be a little more clear so that it 'pops' out and you don't ever have to wonder "hmm, didn't I click on this?".

omg my mouth actually fell open with the body hair and facial hair being able to control how dark it is and the freckles i love it.
Omg I died at the body hair! I grew up playing the sims and so I felt pretty betrayed by my body when I started getting chest hair but now that I've accepted it on myself I still need to mod to get it in the sims. So thanks so much for including it. I do just hope that you'll include body hair for women too
Facial and body hair will be available for all Parafolks, regardless of gender :)

Looks better and better with each new video,great job Paralives team ^^.Just an idea,what if when creating/editing a para,there is a parafolk we have created previously for the current household (like lets say a wife/husband/child etc.) is standing,leaning on the shoulder,making peace sign (like for a photo) next to the current para we are editing and is reacting to our actions(choosing hairstyle,eye colour)???It could be totally optional,so it does not get in the way/being annoying while we create the second/third and so on para.Anyways.... just a silly idea I came up with while watching the new video.Good luck Paralives team, can't wait for the next update. ^^

Brooooo.... he will always be Lucas in my heart... But Sebastian "Seb, for short" is juuust how I imagined him to be... even the body hair like chest hair... Did we even mention??? Body Hair??? Not that I know of but my wig flew across the moon when I saw edit-able body hair... IMPRESSED EXCITED all the words!! How do you guys keep giving us everything we ever asked for in a game! Pleaaaaaase continue to take it slow. Dont rush it. I really really am trying to quell my inner HypeBeastie. I know that too much hype can actually kill a game in sales... but your team kereps raising the bar every round. Your transparency has been amazing. Your communication with us... both written and visual... again... it is all we have ever asked for from developers of games that shall not be named.. heehee. I just want this game to delivered to us fleshed out... not missing the basics... and it really does feel like... your passionate about this project. So... even tho you guys keep showing out hahaha I will really try to hold back my anticipation... while still showing appreciation and excitement from the sidelines. We are rooting for you guys. We really are. Please, dont rush anything out... we are fully on board and invested in your team and how you guys are developing this game. We live in really strange times, bro.. but this interchange here with the Paralives Community and with the developers has helped in some way. Which is odd... cuz we came before the pandemic... because we had interest in supporting the game and all the development that's involved... but this project has been a refreshing experience in a very shifting and odd time in our real lives... may seem corny... but I wanted you guys to know that. Amazing!! You guys are killing it! I don't know whether it's just because the video screen is small from where I'm watching it but the icons for each category in Paramaker is a bit confusing to distinguish. I think it's because the icons all look the same. If I was making a para in a rush, I'd probably click the wrong icons. BUT in saying that - I love your work. I'm so happy to see things progressing fantastically

Awesome! I would love the ability to create my own tattoo. It could be within in the game or some way to upload my own creation. That would be such a unique and great way to customize paras. Something that I always feel is missing in life sim games
Congratulations! I don’t think I’ll ever see eye to eye with the 2D style of the paras + the black outlines (everything is SO beautiful without them!), but absolutely everything else you guys keep throwing at us is so amazing. The fluid animations literally made my jaw drop. And it’s remarkable how you’ve made the music sound a bit more rocked (cause Sebastian is a bad boy, duh), but somehow still managed to keep that calm feeling of earlier videos. Your love for this game really shows in your work<3

I can't even tell you how excited I was to see the opacity slider and the BODY HAIR!! Amazing! I love the way he looks!! The way you can change so many aspects of him is incredible! And I don't know if anyone else noticed, but you can put 2 tattoos on the same arm!!! You are all giving us such choices and so many options. I hope everyone appreciates how hard you are working for us all! Thank you and keep up the good work!!

He looks great and I love what you've done with him and where he lives! The only criticism I have is that he looks a little feminine? I have nothing against feminine looking guys or trans guys but he doesn't look quite biologically male. Perhaps it's his neck or face proportions? Let me know what you guys think 😊
I disagree, I've seen plenty of guys that look like that. And even then you'll be able to customise them quite a lot so I'm sure you can make your paras look less "feminine".

It looks SO good. I'm so excited about this game and really believe in y'all (hence being a Patreon)! Can't wait to eee what the future holds. Also, THE CLUTTER! I have a clutter addiction and it looks like I will be pleased with my Para's messy lives 😂
OK...one thing about tattoos. Is it possible (and this is a question because I don't know all of the work that would go into it) to go with a system more resembling that of Rock Band than Sims 4? In Rock Band, you could select the area of the body, place decals, then move/scale/rotate/color/layer them to create your own style. You could make intricate sleeves by layering images over one another, or have a really small tattoo tucked away wherever you wanted. As someone with tattoos, I feel that was one of the best systems as it allowed for the most creativity. Not a fan of the Sims 4 where you have this one tattoo in this one location. Everyone ends up having the same tattoos loosely based on the theme of the person. MORE TATTOO FREEDOM!!!
We'll try our best to allow more freedom for tattoos, but we can't confirm it just yet as it's still a technical challenge!

I love how fluid the whole designing process is, I’m still a bit iffy on the art style but honestly for an alpha style it’s pretty good, keep up the great work

soo cool!!! looks like there will be a lot of options in the paramaker, I see makeup stuff hehehe. I wonder if they will be able to refine the light/shading on the paras a little more, I remember they said they don't have a big team so it might be tough to make super realistic graphics, but I hope it can at least look less "flat" if that makes sense. keep it up!!! so excited!!

The animation, Sebastian, body hair! Everything in general, is AMAZING!! But, I don’t really like the UI a lot, the icons are not fitting in with the rest of the game, I think some easier drawings could be an option, I don’t know why I have such a problem with it. I agree, I think the next hire or maybe sometime down the line should be a graphic designer to create icons and establish the brand identity a bit more

Every time I think this game can't get any better... and then it does. The way the furniture places, the options on the mirror, the fact that the Para is sitting on the kitchen cabinets and the way his moves seem so natural. The only thing is the outline, if you guys don't want to remove it completely, maybe it could be a bit "softer". Anyway, love it!

There are too many things to say about this . But I have to applaud the decor ! That circular mirror, the waterfall plants, the buffalo skull - all very cool ! I also love how fluid the motion of Seb is while hopping off the counter . I think it’s funny and nice that he can have body hair of any color lol . And lastly, I like that he moves into his home before there’s even a roof 😉

I really enjoy the building functions and house decorations. However, I have a few constructive comments regarding the current version. I am honestly disappointed in the current tattoo and freckle placement options, as one of the most highly requested features is the ability to freely place tattoos, freckles, or beauty marks anywhere onto a Parafolk. It really limits customization for players, along with limiting the creativity of modders and their creations. Secondly, the current UI design isn't accessibility-friendly. The menu options in PAM only show black and white vectors of each menu item. I think there should be text above to indicate what the menu item is when you hover over it with your mouse. Maybe include a highlight behind menu items when hovered over too. I found it hard to follow along in the video of what was being clicked on the menu because there was no visual indicators. It lost my focus onto "where did they click?" from any of the cool and interesting details of Sebastian. (Again, not hate - just constructive thoughts. Keep up the good work!)

Keep in mind everything is still a work in progress and the UI will change and get improved a lot :) About being able to place tattoos and freckles everywhere, it's a big technical challenge so we're not sure we will be able to do it. It's something we want to try though

There's SO much good to focus on in this video but I keep on getting caught on how FLUIDLY he jumps off the counter. It looks so natural! There's actual weight behind him moving his arms and then shifting his legs. I'm legitimately so impressed. If that's a sign of how the paras movement will be, I can't wait! One minor thing that I noticed with him and Maggie are the size of their feet; they seem slightly out of proportion with the rest of their body (on the smaller size). Although this may just be due to the angle of the videos.

AAAAH I LOVE THIS!!! the animations. the sliders, the drawings on the fridge! Congratulations Paralives team! My only question (tiny tiny concern) would be, looking at the shadows inside the kitchen it seems like its taking into consideration the fact that we're viewing it with walls up, no roof and it seems like sunlight is coming in through the hidden ceiling. I think it would be a bit more immersive if we have sunlight only coming in from windows/doors etc. even with walls down. But thats just me being nitpicky, its still pretty friggin cool!!

I am a HUGE user of custom content in sims 4, and I honestly don’t think that I’m gonna feel the need to use them for paralives, when I see this! The only thing I’m not a huge fan of, is the black outline around paras and objects. If I’m able to remove those (wich I once heard you can?) I’m good to go! FANTASTIC job! The excitement is getting too damn real! 😍😍

So many good things in one vid 1) I love the way the refrigerator falling from the above to the room. So freaking cool!!
