I love the graphics style of this hair so so much! I really hope the hair has physics, so it can move in the wind and when a parafolk is walking it will sway, or hugging someone it wont just clip through the other parafolk.

Is it possible for some hairstyles to add sliders for the lenght? Like sometimes I really like a hairstyle with pigtails or a hairband or simply light waves for a certain outfit, but it's the wrong hairlenght for the character, that I'm envisioning.

Is there hair physics in-game? Will it blow in the wind?

I would like to see different African American hair textures and curl patterns also dread locs and sister locs braided styles, etc

Perhaps some fashions from the Medieval era all through the 30s-80s and various time periods during the ages.

I love high and low ponytails. Also. If you could choose to have bangs with every hairstyle, that would be really cool! And different kind of bangs too!

I hope there will be options (in hairstyles and other appearance/personality choices) to make characters who are real ‘characters’. Like in acting you would call them ‘character actors’. They aren’t leading men or ladies.. not glamorous or hip. This would mean options like crazy frizzy hair... or a combover (lots of balding and receding hair options, ideally - not just one), bowl cuts (think: Dumb and Dumber), and nerd dos.

I’m not sure what kind of hairstyles I want I just know I want A LOT. I think also if you guys get ahead of the game and release a cc creating tool people can just make different hairstyles

Would you consider making bangs a separate thing where you choose from a variety of hairstyles and can add different bangs to them such as curly, strands on the sides, loose fringe, thickly chopped bangs, or longer side-swept, curly bangs [which I'm pretty sure are in right now], super short retro bangs, etc...

I would love for it to fully integrate with CC. I spend hours looking through CC and i feel like it's a way to get more content into your game without you having to create it yourself. I love being able to add something as small as eyelashes to my characters. Designing the people is my favorite part of a game.

Please include body hair (would like the option for both men & women)! Also for men’s facial hair it would be neat if there was some patchy-ness not just all perfect grown out beards. :D

Take your time Alex. I can see that you are taking the idea and concept of hairstyles with strands just like The Sims 3. You can do it and I know you'll make it even better!

I like this a lot, though it is a feature, the Sims 3 team was able to (more or less) successfully integrate. I‘m just fascinated by how you seem to include all these customisation options and still seem to have a game with a probable great runtime

Love the coloring options. I've had my hair every color of the rainbow, and would love to be able to do that with a character as well.

I would love some frizzy/messy hairstyles too, if possible... for grunge looks!

As Genaye Deal above mentioned, EbonixSims is a great recommendation and something to refer too! It doesn't need to be as much detail, but we definitely need different textures (like 3c, 4c, coily vs curly, etc.) so everyone can feel represented! :)

I'm so excited! One thing that I would love to know is that will we be able to apply different acc like the hairband in the gif? For example, although I love the hairstyle in this post, the hairband is a bit childish for my taste. I wonder would it be possible to delete, recolor, or change the pattern of the acc?

Being able to wear hats / hair bands / hair accessories would be amazing.

Love it! Cant wait to have a color wheel for hair again! So sad when they took it away in Sims 4. But my suggestion on hair would be to have long long hair! Sims doesn't have one hair style that is super long, only mid to long hair, Also if any way possible to make some hairs like creator CC Zouyou, she is my favorite hair creator. love the anime look, lots of people do. But you guys are doing a great job, Cant wait for you to finally put it out! Huge Fan!

I biggest pet peeve of mine is no hair physics in the sims games many other games have it.

I really like this and I agree with many others here.

I actually expected the characters to be way more low poly and would’ve been fine with that but seeing this hair is a very good surprise for what’s to come!

Maybe you can ask some Sims modders like EbonixSims to help with creating hair for Paras with Afro textured hair. Also like, it would be cool if we could choose the hair texture of our Para through the 1-4 hair types and different hairs/hairstyles for each. AND when there are Paras that who have different hair textures (ie Para with type 2 and Para with type 4) their offspring can have a randomized textured in between (2-4)

Alex, I think it is very important as some people have already said, various types of hair that can be a mirror of different peoples.

Not sure how feasible/good this idea is, but do you know that feature in the Sims 4 Cats and Dogs expansion where you can paint on your pet? Now, imagine that, but with hair. That way you can also have just a single streak of colour if you want or something like that.

This looks so good! Agree with some comments here that being able to flip left and right elements of the hairstyles would be a great new idea. Also... and I'm not sure how feasible this is... but I've thought about the idea of being able to sort of 'build' a hairstyle out of parts, if that makes sense? Like select a base, then a slider for length, then ability to add a fringe with a choice of style, add pony tail or pigtails or other 'up' parts of chosen styles, or add shaved parts, and customise texture to an extent (like super straight, wavey, curly, braids, dreads -- or maybe that would be in the 'base' part of the hair. That way you can have a paraperson with very similar looking hairstyle but all modified for different occasions. (Same hair but down for sleep, wet looking for pool clothes, styled up for formal outfit, etc.) And then to have different categories of 'head / hair accessories' and not just group it all under hats. To be able to add headbands, clips, flowers, ribbons, etc. from their own class of accessories.

I love it!! For hair styles I would like to see lots of hair color, ombré, and highlights.

I don't really have a certain haircut I want to see or have, but please just make it so that "male" hair is available for female Parafolkes and vice versa. Or no label at all, since it's hair (this also for the clothing please).

For hairstyles, I think it would be nice to have some low pigtails and ponytails! As for customization elements, it could be nice if you could flip hairstyles, I.E. make a left-part style into a right-part one. Being able to change the fringe/bangs separately from the rest of the hair could be nice too!

I would like being able to customize length and texture. Not sure if that is at all possible, but a slider is what I imagine for the length. For the texture, no idea lol

Hey Alex, I know this is totally unrelated but I had an idea for a name that you can call the language that the parafolk will use, how about paratalk. Or Paralese.

A little hair salon would be so cute! Just like the store idea, parafolk could go in and change their hairstyles :D

Not sure how much work it would be but if it’s at all possible I’d love to see some kind of slider for hair length. So even paras with the same hair style/colour would end up looking just a little different. Or just different preset lengths to choice from (of the same style)

I would love to be able to layer clothing and freely place accessories in game if at all possible. Also clothing customization beyond color would be amazing. Changing the sleeve type, skirt and pants length, etc. Like the "change style" menu for the dresses on eshakti.com.

I would love if we can have different curly hairstyles and natural hairstyles with different volumes 😍 and be able to add hair accessories like beads and the wire wrapping you see on locs sometimes but it can be added to any hairstyle

Will be able to get filters to separate short/medium/ long hair styles? and filters for male female and unisex hairstyles. So they won’t be all bunched together? :)

As much as I don’t like my frizzy hair in real life, I think it would be a really cool addition. Different hair textures in addition to styles.

Looks amazing. Love how you can just color in one strand as well. I disagree with Andrea Digney and don't think that natural and dyed hair should be seperate (maybe just have natural color swatches but the rest can be done over the colour wheel and be inherited)

I hope that dyed and natural colours will be separate (and be able to be set separately in Paramaker so that Paras will not inherit dyed blue hair from their parents (but you can still set them to have natural blue hair if you want an anime style game heh)

Loved when we could do this in Sims 3. I miss it so much. You are giving me everything I ever wanted in build and character builder. I'm sure it will be the same when it comes to gameplay. I am loving this! Color change for scrunchies/hairties would also be A+++. I agree with a previous post-- it would be awesome if hairstyles were also length-customizable with a slider as well, so one modeled hairstyle can have that further level of variety & flexibility with different styles/face shapes. <3

This is a great way to go about this! I wonder if you would consider adding buns and ponytails as separate pieces for anyone who wants, for example, space buns?

Will hairstyles be unisex or will there be certain styles restricted to males and females? And what about ages? I mean, I hate the handful (if that) styles for toddlers in most Sims games but I also don't want toddlers with hair that's longer than they are, like some CC. It'd be great if there are some simple styles that work for any age and maybe more complex/mature styles for teen/(young) adult and up?

Can all hairstyles be used on all sexes? There can be tags for "feminine" and "male" hairs, but I'd love the option to give my Parafolk whichever hairstyle fits them most.

I wish hairstyles have different lengths keeping the same styles, and also tons of accessories to choose, like bows and ribbons for ponytails and buns made with Bobby pins or braces. Also bangs and no-bangs version.

OMGosh I LOVE this! I like the name Paramaker and yes give us LOTS of options for recoloring! Color wheels are perfection! I am getting SO excited! 😃 Keep up the fantastic work! ⭐

LOVE IT! Amazing! If there are accessories in the hair (big scrunchies, clips, headbands, etc.) having the ability to change those colors independently would be amaaaazing! Not like every single one but just on the really visible accessories.

Also an ombre or baylayage slider would be cool. As in, you can pick a solid color for the entire hairstyle or several colors, then with the slider it would lighten/darken pieces dependant upon certain RGB value inputs

This is amazing! The hair is stylized, yet has great detail. I’m just glad it’s not in the Stringy TS3 style. I wouldn’t be mad if it was even more “blockier” to save resources.

Also I'd love to see some kind of hair as an attachment, where you can choose hairstyle and then attach to it some kind of ponytail or sth like that. This is awesome! Love it. Please keep in mind that not everybody that plays these types of games is a teen or 20-something. Many of us are older. A LOT older. (I'm a middle aged person that has colored my hair in red, blue and purple, as a lot of older people do, so the colors are great!) Elders (and toddlers/children) have been neglected in "The EA Game" since the beginning 20 years ago, so please don't leave them out. I also love the idea of being able to customize any hair accessories, and if a length slider isn't too much work, that's also a fantastic idea.

I love it! And as a suggestion for hairs I wish to see in the game, as a shaved girl myself, I would be super happy to have some shaved and real short female hairs in the Paramaker, be it a pixie cut, a buzzcut, a sidecut, a undercut... you get the ideia! I’m really loving everything so far, it’s amazing, congrats guys!

Hair length sliders would be a great feature but I can't even imagine how difficult it would be to implement. Would be great to see the slider go from outrageously long hair to balding.

I love this so cute! I love the color customization, people do half and half or gradient style or even just random patches and streaks, so this is nice. Adding accessories would be cool somewhere down the road but I like this little view of Parafolk possibilities is great.

It's super cute!!! I'm so excited! As for suggestions, please make sure to add different curly hairstyles! Sims has mainly straight hairstyles, so when I decide to give my character curls there are not many hairs that looks like it's the same hair worn differently on different outfits. That's my second suggestion, make sure to add multiple hair styles that could be the same length/fringe/texture/volumes etc so I can have my character wear their hair differently with different outfits! (not that it looks like it has grown a few inches when they swap clothes, if you know what I mean) thanks for this preview! It looks awesome! Can't wait for more!

Would love short/long half up half down hairdos, vintage styled (victorian/50s) and if you want more inspiration i definitely recommend looking at mmd hairs on deviantart they have a lot of good ones

That’s a big bonus for us who like to have our characters looking like they dye their hair :D Will you be adding a feature so that hats can be used in conjunction with any hair style? i would say for the basics hair, we should be able to choose from different types of hairs (like extremely curly to extremely straight) or give an option where your hair is straight when ur younger then it becomes wavy/curly growing up (since that does happen to some people as they grow!)

As some other people already said: add simpler hairstyles as well? like straight ones etc. I have nothing against anime-esque hairstyles in the end, but it's still a life sim, so just more natural looking hair in general would be nice :) Bob cuts, ponytails, (fish) braids and of course nice, clean & stylish hairstyles for men!

Cute hairstyle 😍 If it's okay, would love to see all kinds of hairstyles including Japanese (kind of anime-ish or even like the Visual Kei band-type hairstyles or Final Fantasy-type for males). Just to add a bit more diversity especially if you're creating a certain type of ethnicity 😊

This looks AMAZING! The details and customization are sooo nice! While The Sims hair is looking like a Lego cap on the head, this actually looks like a nice head of hair. And it's not even the final design... I salute you all in the Paralives crew! Can't wait to see what more you guys are coming up with.

Please add more simple and basic hair styles! Maybe a straight hair and curly hair option in multiple lengths (short, medium, long, extra long) as a base. Then add other hair styles as well. But whenever I’m playing and I have to create a character I always go for a simple updo or simple down-do. Nothing crazy. But of course include other cool styles as well! But please don’t forget to add in just simple straight/wavy/curly options in short, medium, long, XL. Great work!

I'd love it if hair accessories/hats etc were separate from the hairstyle, so you can choose whichever hair you want and then add an accesory (or not). Not choose from a hairstyle+hairclip or hairstyle+hat. Also, lots of different kinds and styles of facial hair!

I would love a half bun hairstyle. You know when the front of yoyr har is up and the back is loose. Bun and ponytail!
