The Strangest Objects in Paralives 2024
Hello everyone, Léa here today to showcase some of the strangest objects we have ever created for the game!
Last year, Sonia, Chloé and I were tasked with a special week-long project to spice things up in our catalog by adding unique items (the weirder the better) and you loved it! I’m happy to announce that Chloé and I are back at it again this year. 😎
Like the previous edition, we had complete freedom on what we wanted to create, as long as it was unexpected and unusual. I hope you’re ready for this!
Need a bachelorette party outfit? We got you covered.
That’s it for this new edition of the Strangest Objects in Paralives! Doing this every year is Chloé and I’s favorite tradition in the studio, but don’t worry we are already back on track to create more ‘’normal’’ items 🙂
Have a nice weekend! 🤠

I love this post! I so need a castle bed in my life! Like I want ne irl lol Also absolutely can't live without the Throne! That tiger face! What a snuggle-y couch! As well as many other items in this post < 3 I really hope you continue this tradition!
The castle beds look amazing:)
I can't believe I never responded to this post! I love a loads of these items, especially the tiger and cactus couches. (I swear my Paras house is just going to be full of weird couches) I also love the mouth fireplace and the other body part furniture, so odd but in the best way! I'd love if Paralives started a tradition of a weird/odd objects update each year.
This is one of my favorite updates to date! That castle and bed combo was amazing—if anything, I'd love to see a variant for the octopus bed as some kind of vine with thorns or brambles, so that our paras can roleplay as Sleeping Beauty!
These are so goofy I love them
The long tiger couch, cozy toilet, and body pillows are hilarious 😂 I LOVE the pink hat and I will be using all of these items
I love all of these, but especially the tentacle bed, cowboy hat, and body pillows 😭😭 amazing work, everyone!
Love the pink bachelorette hat and castle beds!!
The body parts - items freak me out! 😨 I really love the the plushies tho! 😍
Wooow, the castle beds are insane
Tom could stab somebody with that jawline 😩
Omg the castle beds ??? They're incredible 😍 and the Tiger couch has my vote, can't wait to make an eccentric millionaire house with it !
I'm not one for odd decor items at all but the castle beds are nice and unique.
The tiger couch has my heart🥹
Oh gog, the body parts and fuzzy throne is sooo cursed XD
This one was a lot of fun 🥰 thanks for sharing, team!
The tired blob is so cute! 🥰 And I love the beds! 😍❤️ It is so fun with unique items! You are amazing! ❤️
Really like the castle beds (and all of the other items too, but especially the beds). Great job!
Wow this is super cool content. That octo bed looks like Ursula's bed from little mermaid, not exact but would certainly match the theme. I can send you some pics if you's like to make a themed set, I mean everyone loves a villain, right? But really loving the kiddie play kitchen, that is adorable, and those castle beds are awesome. Great work team!
I love these fun items. Puts some silly into the game!
I love the castle beds!! Especially how they're lit up at night ❤️❤️
The castle beds please add them to the game for toddle and children beds
All of these items look so fun!
that mouth fireplace is giving sims 1 CC, absolutely love it
okay, i love hate all of these 🥰😂 my favourite are the octopus theme and the cactus couch~ keep em coming!
The castle bed is something I never knew I needed, but now that I have seen it, I want it so badly.
J'aime beaucouq ce genre d'objets très kitch j'espère que nous aurons encore plus de choses comme ça à l'avenir :)
I need those beds very seriously
I love the tiger sofa and loveseat.
Someone watched (or *has* to watch) Gakuen Handsome when they made Tom. Appreciate the furry dentist waiting room abomination :D
CallmeKevin and Rtgame are gonna have a field day with this
Obsessed with the cactus sofa! 🌵
tom body pillow will be in my first paras' house. the silly items are definitely a necessity, weird zany objects are definitely a part of sim game lifeblood.
These are truly, truly all incredible but I cannot even BEGIN to explain the noise I made when I scrolled down and saw the clown stuff and that is not an exaggeration. I absolutely adore that y'all make a point to do this kind of thing, it feels like such an important part of creating this really unique new contender in the genre.
These are all nice, I especially love the Tiger themed couch's, and the stretched cat plushie, I love cats, so the more cat themed items the better. I like the more creepy plushies too, and I hope both adults and children can play around with them, and they're not just for decor. I miss my simulated people having a teddy bear or some kind of plushie to cuddle and carry around. With the two different types of toilets, it got me thinking of other types, like a chamber pot or even a bucket for a toilet, lol! The Castle shelves remind me of some CC I've gotten for The Sims games, but this is better because you can use different beds, the CC already had a bed attached.
Please, please, please create an online store to sell some of these as merch we can buy. I'd love some of the plushies in real life and I bet there are some who would like pillow cases. heh. Of course game design should come first but there are so many possibilities here!
The body part collection is absolutely horrible, I love it
I LOVE this kind of funny and WTF items ! Please I Hope you will continue to make a BIG collection of theses ! <3
Short Tiger Couch is cute. Long Tiger Couch is horrorfying. Poop Cat is getting recoloured, I guarantee.
Hey Tom, why the long face?
Very excited about the octopus collection! It’s be so cool to have a smaller bedroom chandelier to match!
Would never have a fuzzy toilet in real life but definitely will in paralives 🤣🩵💜🩷
Who else got Ursula vibes from the octopus stuff? I like it lol. And my para self will most definitely have those anime body pillows. This game already looks so much fun. I can't wait till I get my hands on it
A tentacle bed? I've seen enough you-know-what to know where that's going.
The hat thingies don't have enough movement >:D. But overall, very nice decorations! Some of them are so cursed lmao. I will definitely place them in my future in-game house
I GASPED at the castle bed and the toilet throne. Just looking for the flushing handle 😅 Looks amazing!! Can't wait to make a medieval style home with a different kingdom in each room. 🤗
I know you guys can't for legal reasons, but I will be waiting patiently for someone (with better modeling skills) to modify the tiger into the Catbus from Totoro. I also really like that castle shelf with the single bed. Make a private little space for the little prince/princess in your life. I agree with another comment that it would be cool to use it with other kinds of furniture. Maybe put some chairs under it and make a kids' reading nook in a library.
what in the Poppy Playtime is going on here?? 😂😂😂 Wow...the fact that all of this will be available blows my mind. The castle beds?! I mean, COME ON. & If I could order that exhausted red blob, I would in a heartbeat--words I never thought I'd use in a sentence 😭
They're horrible and I love them!! :D
Ok but genuinely the fairtytale castle shelf is awesome ! I need more items matching this style so I can give my first Para's firstborn child a super cute bedroom even the people from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition wouldn't dare design ! (is that show still on ? hm probably not) You could easily place a desk or a couch/bench there, too. Or it could be used in a store that sells toys. I really like that it's not part of a bed, although it is clearly designed for it ; it adds so much flexibility to this weird item ! It's out there, but it's also full of potential and so it will be used by a lot of people. Oh and it lights up, too ? The cactus couch is also very fun. It looks spikey and yet it's so round and comfy-looking... The mouth fireplace, however, I can't condone. I also love the weird plushies. I'm still hoping for a frog at some point, as I ADORE frogs as a theme for a kid/toddler bedrooms, but a frog would be way too normal for this post. Obviously. The long cat reminds me of this gif ( https://www.pinterest.com/pin/623256035909937788/ ) and has the same potential for jokes as the Long Long Man ads ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-1Ue0FFrHY ). Sorry for all the links XD
Paralives universe long Furby confirmed! 👌🐉
I genuinely love the bedroom items! I can't wait to make an ocean-themed bedroom :)
incredible. perfection. no notes.
I LOVE THESE UPDATES
I'm obsessed with all of these but the standouts to me are the tiger couch !!! and the childrens' beds!! I definitely can't wait to build the fantasy bedroom for all my kids!
Haha these all made me laugh, I especially love the teddy with teeth. Eek! Why do I want one?
This is delightful! And my dentist had a bear with teeth like that growing up😂
Wow, you guys got Chair-senpai from Chairem Anime. Truly a celebrity appearance.
This is my favorite tradition! Love that body pillow with the pointiest chin senpai😆
Having such weird objects in the game is so cool! Can’t wait to make a para with a house full of weird furniture 😂 (also I love the castle shelf so much!!!)
The castle beds, cactus couch and rubix cube are my favorites already.
Long cat plush or long Furby 🤔🤔🤔
For legal reason, it's a cat :D
omg I love all of it! My favorites are the cactus (as an introvert I need this) and the tiger sofa (with matching armchair), as well as the fluffy toilet AND the castle as a headboard. ❤️❤️❤️🫶 thank you much guys ♡
Haha! What fun! I am rather curious, though...what's on the other side of that feet and hands door?
just the street :)
Oh my word those are awesome. I have to find the other post now... those are amazing! Are you taking suggestions? Lol
Always! :D
I have ideas for the grandma toilet and the pink hat lol
The castle beds are an absolute dream though 😭 My inner child is smiling
That jawline is impeccable
Pink Pony Club Moustache Man!! Wow you have outdone yourselves. I can't wait to find a practical use for (almost) all of these crazy items! I already know all my spoiled Para kids and teens will get the castle bed - those are SO COOL! I think the creepiest one to me is the stool with hands and feet... that is... not right XD Amazing job!! Thank you so much for sharing!
I loved the castle beds haha
I am in fact obsessed with this challenge. Please keep this up as like little free updates over the years if yall ever got the time :)
That's a great idea! Testers have been loving using those items so we might just continue the challenge in future years!
Now I need a full set of body parts furniture
The long cat plush is so cuuuuuute. 😍
YES! I can confirm that I will in fact be using that tiger couch the first chance I get! If there were actual functional tigers in the game, that would be so sick, but I am aware that it is not priority! Ps. I need more swatches for that cute, red, handmade plush on the top shelf all the way to the right! So so amazing !
Don't worry, all our plushies have multiple swatches and are recolorable with the color wheel :)
I love this
I LOVE that the details on that cowboy hat are moving 😭🙏 These objects are sooo awesome
YES I LOVE THEM
The Medieval Throne Toilet is awesome lol I love it we can’t always be Normal 💗💗🫶🏽🫡
I’m deeply uncomfortable and yet I cannot look away 😔 as always, great job team, I’m particularly interested by Tom and also the castle shelves and the way they fit around beds!
I can’t wait to see more strange objects in Paralives! I want to design a house and paras using only those objects.
Love the tiger stuff!
Omg I love all of these! I can't wait to use these objects when the game us available 😁
Incredibly cursed, I love it!
NOT THE FUZZY TOILET 😭😭
