Bottle up my feelings

Hello! It's been two weeks, but it feels like my latest status update was yesterday.

(Wishlists Very Appreciated!)

My previous week has been very tough, had to make a difficult trip for family reasons but came back and rested a bit. Now I'm planning my work for the next one-two weeks. I hope you all had a more pleasant time than I did.

Thank you, to everyone who used the new user report feature, I've already received five bug reports even though it's the same bug. The bug reports include a save file and a screenshot of the game at the time the report was made so it's very helpful.

Here's what I need to do this week:

  • First take care of some teleportation positioning issues around the ship, the coordinates of the teleport points are mismatching because I changed the collider area of the chibi to be around the feet and it wasn't noticeable at the time. I'm sorry for this issue happening and it's actually pretty gamebreaking, but I'll make sure to include the fix in this month's release.

  • Prepare the bar content to be released, while making sure to "lock" the dialogues whose content is still ongoing. This will allow me to have more time dedicated to testing in preparation for next week.

  • Add the bar toilet scene to the game.

  • Finish some side content animation (a massage of sorts).

  • Add the new loading screen animation to the game so you see the loading animation when being teleported. Funnily enough, this is also the case in Valheim, where the player character is actually being manually moved around the map but some UI canvas element is being activated so you see a portal to hide the fact that your character isn't teleported instantly.

  • I might need to add some new sprites to the game showcasing different idle animations for some character(s).

These are the priorities right now. Due to the unforeseen stuff I had to do last week, I didn't yet finish the cutscene for the village ending, even though the dialogue is indeed finished.

That's it for now, have a great week!
