Painting Contest: July Monthly Round Winners!
Hi everyone:
During July, we had a double dose of the Painting Contest: the July Monthly Round and the Second Quarter Final. We are impressed with all your entries!
In this post, we will announce the Monthly Round winners. In another post, we will announce the Second Quarter Final winners and those who have already secured a spot in the 2025 Grand Final.
So, the July Round winners have been decided. The six winners are the first to qualify for the Third Quarter Final, which will take place in October. Beyond what they will achieve in the Quarter Final, they have already won fantastic prizes from our great contest sponsors: AMERALABS and THE ARMY PAINTER.
Finally, just a reminder that the August round of the Painting Contest has already started. Along with the prizes, winners will qualify for the Third Quarter Final. If you have any doubts, you can check the contest's Rules & Guidelines or ask us directly.
With no more delay, here are the winners in each category for the July Round:
For the Monthly category, where, as you know, only painted minis from our July releases can participate, we are happy to announce that the winners of the Monthly Category for the July Round are:
1st place: Rafał Łodyga for his painting work on Gore Serpent of Koth.
2nd place: Callum White for his painting work on Gorefiend of Koth.
3rd place: Angel David Carmona for his painting work on Warchief Hilfe.
Let's go now to the Classic Category winners! This new category for 2025 allows participants to enter with any previous Archvillain Games mini, except for the current month's release models. Many have participated in this category so it has been even tougher to pick the winners in the Classic Category, and here they are:
1st place: Marius Glang for his painting work on The Wheel.
2nd place: Eymeric Charles-Angèle for his painting work on Goresnout Ogre.
3rd place: James T Wappel for his painting work on Zygomor.
Congratulations to all winners who qualify for the Third Quarter Final, which will take place in October. But that is not their only reward; they also get some amazing prizes from our sponsors, which we detail for those who have not checked them before.
1st place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + The Army Painter Speedpaint Starter Set or Wet Palette + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.
2nd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 1 bottle of resin by Ameralabs + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.
3rd place - Qualification for the Quarter Final + 3 Months Free Archvillain Games Patreon or MMF Subscription for the Omniversal Tier.
Finally, for those who still do not know about our 2025 painting contest, you can check the Rules and Guidelines of the contest, where you will find all you need to know about its structure, categories, prizes, how to participate, and much more.
Remember that the August round is the second chance to get a place in the Third Quarter Final, which grants two places for each category to the 2025 Grand Final.
To say goodbye to the July Round, let's congratulate the winners again for their splendid pieces and wish you all the best of luck in the August Round. Check this post to see who the Second Quarter Final winners are and who has already secured a place in the 2025 Grand Final.
