Painting Contest: Second Quarter Final Winners!
We are beyond the halfway point of our 2025 Painting Contest, so the Second Quarter Final already has its winners. The level of the participants in the Second Quarter Final has been outstanding, as it was in the First Quarter Final, so we guarantee that picking the winners has not been easy at all for our jury.
So, are you ready to find out who has gotten a place in the 2025 Grand Final, which will take place in December 2025 and January 2026? But not only that, the Quarter Final winners are also taking home amazing prizes from our great contest sponsors AMERALABS and THE ARMY PAINTER, and additionally, the first in each category will also get a brand new 3D printer.
Before announcing the winners, let's introduce the structure of the Second Quarter Final. In each category, only the 3 finalists of this year's second quarter Monthly Rounds (April, May, and June) could participate. However, they could not enter with just any mini. Instead, they had to pick one among the minis we proposed for each category:
For the Monthly Category, of course, they were from July's collections, which were the following:
Goretusk Fellbeast - 50mm base - In any of its 4 poses
Vorgathee - 50mm base - In any of its 4 poses
Warchief Hilfe - 25mm base
Goliath Projector - 60mm base on any modular configuration.
And for the Classic Category, the selection was from various previous collections, as usual:
Ghult Sluagh - 75mm base - The Great Bloodshed - Ghult Clan - May 2023
Anubian Brute - 50mm base - Empire of Sands - Scales of Anubis - June 2022
Bog troll - 50mm base - Speak of the Devil - Act.III - September 2022
Sohei Ire - 25mm base - Zetsumei - Path of the Demon - Bundle - March 2022
With no more delay, here are the winners in each category for the Second Quarter Final:
