What's Next?
Elsaverse: Transitions set up two games, "Chasing Beth" and "Dream Corps." Obviously, Chasing Beth happened. Now, after almost two years on Toro 7, we're ready to do "Dream Corps."
But, while I had a general idea of how Dream Corps would go, when I recently sat down and started actually plotting it out, I realized that, for various reasons, my plans wouldn't work.
The solution to this problem is to break "Dream Corps" into multiple parts. Here's my current plan for it.
First, we're going to do a four part kinetic called "Elsaverse: Past, Present, and Future."
Then, we're going to do the next real game, which I'm currently calling "Gemini." Gemini has two MCs (you pick which you want to play at the start) and their stories happen concurrently and overlap. One of the two characters is Michael who you saw in the post credits scene in Chasing Beth. The other is Trisha. I'm going to try to do something with Trisha that I haven't done before, and it has me both excited and terrified. We'll see how it goes.
I've got EV:PPF written, and I've started working on Gemini.
There are a few other things in the early planning phases. Mortze has a great idea for a new sci-fi game, and we've been talking about it. We don't have a title for it yet, so the filename on my word doc for it is "Space Western Game." I think Gemini will come before that one, but the future is always blurry.
And, I've been thinking about a game I'm calling, "Writing with Tara," which will continue the overall arc of the Tara's Tales stories. My current plans are to do something with Writing with Tara that people are either going to love or hate. Video games are one of the only storytelling mediums that are fixed to a single POV. In WwT, I'm thinking about having you play two characters in a single playthrough, the MC and the LI. Seems crazy, but when I sit down to actually write it, I'll see if I can make it work.

Thank you for the update. I am loving these creative ideas.
Last of Us had two points of view, and it worked great. I'm quite confident you can do as well with the MC and LI PoVs.
Last of Us 2… not so much.
I love the idea of controlling both MC and LI in the same game! Sounds like you take some of the good out of Toro 7 (multiple perspectives) without (hopefully) some of the negatives (such as magnitudes of work more for the same amount of story. I'm really looking forward to all of this!
It's not a bad idea to play two peoples, whose stories overlap, it's been done before, I'm thinking of "Our Red String", it's just more complicated if you really give the players the choice, but it's generally very interesting. In literature, it's a bit like Game of Throne, even if the chapters take place one after the other rather than at the same time. I suppose some people have trouble with this type of narrative. One idea that would fit in very well with the theme would be an investigator tracing what happened, and then we see the other person's point of view. I really liked the investigation aspect of Darkness Fall with Blake and Won (which I'd love to see again ^^).
I've been a patron for years, and you're still wowing me with all these content! I love the Elsaverse!
You really outdid yourselves with Tora 7, it was phenomenal and I can’t wait for these next games!
excited to hear all the new ideas and attempt challenging new ways to tell these stories!
