Weekly #313
Last week we had Tara learning to sin. My favorite caption came from Lazy Turtle with the poetic:
"Woman is at once apple and serpent."
Temptress and Forbidden Fruit. Ain't that the truth?
Last week we released Episode 5 of Toro 7. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the post directly above this one. We've already started work on Ep6, but it will likely be one of the longer development cycles.
This week's image is a little heart wrenching, especially if you look at Mortze's title for it. Miranda has always been my favorite character, largely due to who she represents to me, but Aisha is rising through the ranks quickly.
Is it strange that I treat my favorites the most harshly?
Tell me in captions.

Regardless of the great interpretations you guys have made of this Aisha pic my main inspiration was a Bedouin proverb (Aisha is from Marocco) that translates roughly into "Me against my brother. My brother and I against our cousin. My brother, my cousin and I against everyone else." Maybe someone versed in Arabic could check if the tattoo she has on her arm is well written. -- Mortze
Sort of like, "The world is not big enough for both me and anyone else" ?
All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers.
"The favorites need to jump the highest hurdles, to maintain their position."
"You thought I was ready to throw in the towel, didn't you?"
"Don't give me that look ! You know we have to do it. No matter what."
Wouldn't Aisha become the standard bearer, the symbol of those who claim the right to be different? In peace if possible? It's not for tomorrow that our different societies and religions will accept that the other can think differently from us. In the meantime, we must fight against obscurantism. "Never give up, Aisha. We are a lot with you, from any community."
OK, now this is unexpected victory
