Saving Chloe now in Renpy

I've finished converting Saving Chloe to Renpy and am releasing it now.  As it was with the last three conversions, this was a lot of work, but it was cool playing the game again. In particular, it's convenient to play this game while I work on the script for Chasing Beth, since there are aspects here that strongly influenced the story I wanted to tell in that game.

PC/Linux version is here:

Mac version is here:

I hope you've been enjoying this stroll down the Elsaverse memory lane.

It's great that you've finished converting and released Saving Chloe to Renpy, the effort you put into all of this is greatly appreciated!

An old blog post I wrote about earlier unofficial renpy versions I helped with has now been edited to link to these official ports. I believe this leaves "Darkness Falls" as the only major Elsaverse game not in Renpy yet. I tried myself, but the "searching for clues" scene really can't be done with menus, and really needs the hidden hyperlinks -- which is doable in Renpy, but harder than HTML.

Yeah, I'm probably going to use imagemaps for those sections when I do Darkness Falls. Though I'm not sure whether I'll do Darkness Falls first or start putting the Elsaverse Omnibus together and do the short stories. Thanks for you work on these, Ariane! I used your releases to inform how I wanted to do the official ones. --Tlaero

This is going to be a fun ride. I'm excited to play through this again and go hunting for all the endings. I am also very intrigued by and excited for the next game in this world. I love every chance I get to visit this world you crafted, and given the events of this game, plus the other two smaller entries you've put out, I am looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Couldn't agree more! I just love the storytelling in this world. (It doesn't hurt that the characters are also super hot)
