CtGwC now in Renpy
Hey folks. I've converted Coming to Grips with Christine to Renpy and am making it available now. This distribution has the new renpy version as well as the original HTML version in it (and they share the same image files, so adding the HTML didn't make the download much bigger).
There's no new content in the Renpy version, but it does have the standard Renpy features of unlimited saves and text skipping. I'm considering this the official version now.
Special thanks to ArianeB, who ported some of my other games to Renpy, which provided a good set of examples for me to look at as I decided how I wanted to do this. Frequently people reach their heights by standing on the shoulders of the giants who went before them. I've been standing on Ariane's shoulders for almost the entire time that I've been "Tlaero." Thanks Ariane!

Yes, it's still great that you have someone you can count on)) in this case it's Ariane. Thank you for sharing the news. Excited about this.
I did the conversions with a python script that took me a couple of days to write.
Thanks, Ariane! To do this, I wrote code in AC2 to do a lot of the conversion for me. I'm working on using that with the Elsaverse now. It's my plan to convert everything in the Elsaverse to Renpy and, eventually, join them all together into one big thing. So, while I'm still using your examples, I'm redoing the conversions. --Tlaero
If you want to release the four Elsaverse Renpy conversions on steam, it is fine with me. I got 90% done with Darkness Falls (main obstacle, the search for clues scene) if you want as well.
