Weekly #171
Last week we had Keisha sitting by the pool. My favorite caption came from Mugwump with:
“I know this suit is a little brazen, but I wanted to show off my best ASSet”
Indeed. Keisha has a lot of assets, but that's definitely her best...
Okay, baring a catastrophe, I'm going to release Life Changes for Keeley on Tuesday, July 14th. Moskys, being the superstar that he is, has already translated it to Spanish and has found a few issues that I've fixed. Marco and Abyssal are hard at work on the French and German translations, but it's over 40,000 words long, so I don't really expect them to get it fully translated by then. I'll add their translations whenever they get done.
My calendar says that there are three Sundays between now and then. So, I'm going to make the next three weeklies (including this one) be images from the game. They won't be sex images since I don't want to spoil those. Also, I'm making these Weeklies public, so I couldn't put nudity in them anyway.
This week we have one of the two playable characters. (Don't worry if you don't want to play as a woman. The other playable character is Keeley's husband, James.) This is Claryce, who you may recognize from the bookstore scene in "Coming to Grips with Christine." I had a lot of fun writing Claryce's story. Do you think you'll have fun playing it?
Tell me in captions.

"Like I said, you picked the wrong sister."
In my opinion, Keely has one of the, if not THE, most richly detailed backstories of any of the Tora Keely-verse game characters. Given that a previous game was entirely about her fears regarding her relationship, how her earlier romantic history had impacted it, the (at that point, imagined) spectre of infidelity and her grappling with the limits (or lack thereof) of her own sexual preferences, seeing the fallout when her marriage is damaged promises more drama than any of the stories thus far. Christine, Keisha, Sandy and the rest have all been presented as far more uninhibited and liberal in their love lives than Keely. Is that about to change? Seems like it. (I’d go so far as to say I’d be willing to play this one WITHOUT sex scenes. I know: BLASPHEMY!) Of course, just to be clear: I am beside myself with excitement over seeing Mortze's latest artistic escapades with all these lovely ladies, too! (I mean, how could I NOT be – have you SEEN Claryce up there?!) I know he’s going to knock it out of the park, like always. But I'm so very intrigued by the story possibilities!
sell me a story claryce :)
Yes! I can't wait for July 14th. It feels like a long wait, but I'm certain it'll be worth it. I'll keep my fingers crossed that no additional catastrophes hit us before then, since at this point the only ones left on the list must be an asteroid impact and the sun exploding.
Locusts. Don't forget Locusts... --Tlaero
If you had fun writing it, I know I'll have fun playing it.
Claryce? Does she use Evian skin cream? On occasion I bet she even breaks out the L'Air du Temps with a good bag and cheap shoes.
Can anyone recommend nice Chianti that would go well with liver and fava beans?
Dual male female game play, that’s new for you. I am assuming that the stories will be different.
Although I revere some of the people who do it, I've never thought it was appropriate for relationship games to let you pick your gender and then have the game be almost identical, as if the gender doesn't matter. The stories are quite different if you play Claryce or James. --Tlaero
