Patron Appreciation

Financially speaking, January was a brutal month for a lot of people.  And, it appears to have affected us as well.  Typically, when we release a game publicly, it results in more patrons.  But, despite releasing a game in December and another one in January, our patronage numbers have declined quite a bit.  (In December we were at 600 patrons and $4000 pledged.)

But I'm not here to complain about that.  I'm here to thank the roughly 500 of you who have continued to be our patrons, some of whom have done so for a very long time.  Thank you for donating your hard-earned money to two people who just tell you stories.  And, especially, thank you to the patrons who donate your hard-earned time to us by participating in caption contests, asking questions in AMAs, and posting encouraging comments.  These things matter.  To me, they matter a lot.

I wanted to show some patron appreciation, so I've decided to create a special perk for you.  In December, when I was recovering from writer's burnout, Mortze did some consignment work for a patron.  This resulted in images that were more pornographic than is our norm.  With permission, Mortze gave them to me to use as Weeklies.  I've decided instead to make them a one-time perk.

There are 12 images in all, and I'm giving 3 of them to the $1 patrons, 6 off them to the $5 patrons, and all 12 of them to the $10 patrons.  The next three posts will be the download links for them.

These images aren't canon.  They're the fantasies of one guy.  But I hope you like them.

Thank you for everything you do for us.  We wouldn't be able to do this without you.

This is typical in December and January, people are usually recuperating from Christmas and they have to lower their expenses. Things will get back on track around February or March. Also a lot of people didnt notice you released 2 games in December and January... thats the problem of your Patreon being full of useless stuff (spam).

One man's "spam" is another's "engagement." I actively increased my engagement here at patrons' request. I read every patron exit interview and, while in the distant past, "They weren't engaging enough" was a common reason for leaving, that hasn't been the case since I started doing the "useless stuff." Also, I'm not sure what data you're using to declare that the posts here made a lot of people not know that I released CtGwC and DF. I also watch my download rates, and they're on par with previous releases. --Tlaero

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I love your work and will gladly support you and mortze. Can't wait for the next games. Would love to see something more on the Elsaverse

I've heard other creators mention that they've had a noticeable dip in patreons this past month. Hope this dip won't be too problematic for you. I've personally had to decrease my amount of pledges, sadly, since I've had to spend a fortune and a half on course literature and other stuff for the coming semester. You two kinda popped my patreon cherry, or whatever you want to call it, back in mid September of 2017. I've really enjoyed seeing how you've both evolved from 'Dreaming with Elsa' to 'Coming to Grips with Christine' and 'Darkness falls'. These 12 images looks amazing and with the things mentioned in the latest progress post I'm excited for what's to come in the future.
