The Elsa-verse timeline (so far)
At first, things were pretty easy. DwE came before RfJ. Then came FM, which starts out before RfJ, then runs parallel to it, and ends at the same place. Maybe a little confusing. But you would be forgiven if you couldn't keep track of where the DF episodes and especially the AAA ones take place. So I put together this little timeline to help us all keep this stuff straight.
DwE
An unspecified amount of time later
Wednesday: FM Prolog, AAA1, AAA2, Riot at Mayhem concert
Friday: AAA3
Monday: AAA4
Friday: AAA5, AAA6
2 weeks later
Friday: AAA7
1 week later
Thursday: FM start, AAA8 start.
Friday: RfJ start
Saturday: DF1
Tuesday: DF2
Thursday: DF3, AAA8 end, bombing at Mayoral rally, AAA9, FM end, RFJ end.
AAA10 start (sometime in this period).
Two weeks later.
Friday: DF4
Saturday: DF5
AAA10 end (sometime in this period).
Two weeks later.
Friday: SC start
Sunday: SC end
And, a little teaser. Both the next installment of DF and the next short story take place after SC. So we're finally heading into uncharted territory...

Thank you for laying that out for all of us. I know many of us love these stories, and anything new about them is encouraging.
Thanks for the timeline! Definitely helped firm up where everything happened. And especially thanks for that teaser on the next DF and the next short story! Super looking forward to both.
It helps a lot understanding the timeline. We can sure see some events in all games, but situate the day and week was a little hard. Thanks for that !
Thank you for this. I had a timeline that I had put together for my own "Elsa-verse Compendium," but it's good to see an official order. If work ever lets up, I hope to go through all of the games and stories in order and update everything (it's been a while). :(
Thank you for this, I am pleasantly surprised by how much detail you have in the time line (providing days of the week)
Sounds good, keep up!
Nice. Now to make it more interesting - How about working in the short stories. :-D.
Well, Dream Master takes place like hundreds of years before this. FM Alpha takes place on the Friday that says "RfJ start" (the day before DF1). And all rest could be any time after DwE. The only interesting constraint on those is Dreaming with the Dead, since it takes place during Halloween, and RfJ calls out that they're in "late fall." I didn't present any data on whether "late fall" is before or after Halloween, though. --Tlaero
Thank you! I always like these timelines. I still have to read AAA.
Thank you Tlaero & Mortze for your amazing games. I have been playing Tlaero's games since "Getting to Know Christine" and have followed her games ever since. I really care about these characters now and love seeing what waits for in the future. Even crushing on a couple of them, especially Miranda! I have yet to pledge on any Patreons yet, but you guys are number one on my list, hopefully very soon. In the mean time i hope you don't mind me following your updates. To Mortze, I also checked out Pandora and I'm very intrigued and can't wait for Chapter 2.
Thank you, Isaac. Of course we don't mind you following our updates. That's why we give them away for free. --Tlaero
I was wondering about this last night when I was playing DF, good post :)
