Progress 31 May 2026 and Weekly #480

This week I did some last minute things for Darkness Falls: Signals and am prepared to release it to the public either tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

Mortze has officially started work on Toro 7: Minos. He's mostly been creating character and location models for the game, but I believe that he'll start doing actual game images soon.

I spent some time this week working out the code for how I'm going to make the gameplay work. While Minos is the sequel to Toro 7, it doesn't exactly follow the same structure as that game. There will be two distinct Player Characters, a male and a female, and they'll both be present in the story. This is most similar to our Elsaverse game, "Gemini," although the male and female PCs aren't related to each other.

On the female path, the player will decide the orientation of the character, but it'll happen more organically than it did in Toro 7. There will be three LIs available to the male PC and three for the female PC as well as a few characters you can have sex with but aren't actual "love interests."

Although I've written a significant amount of script for the game, we're really just getting started now that Signals is done. I'll talk more about Minos in future Progress reports. For this week, I'm combining the Progress and Weekly posts so that I can show you some more concept images for the game.
