Progress 15 June 2025

This week Mortze wrote the script and created the final images for the fight scene he's been working on. I'm most of the way through the process of converting them to code, and the scene is definitely a banger. Next week, I assume he's going to start working on a new scene.

I put a lot of effort into the text short story I've been working on, but it's starting to feel bogged down. So I spent some time last night reflecting on what's wrong, and I realized that I'm telling the wrong story. The story I should be telling is with the same characters in the same setting and timeframe but has a different purpose. This will allow me to remove a lot of the bloat that has been weighing it down. Unfortunately, it'll also take out a few lines that I really like, but sometimes writers have to kill their darlings. I tell aspiring writers that, if you can tell a story with fewer words, you generally should. Time to follow my own advice...
