Progress 14 July 2024

Last week I announced that we were cancelling the Writing with Tara game and were discussing what to do instead. We've decided to go with Episode 2 of Mortze's SW game.

Mortze is going to write the story and do the images. I'm going to do the programming and will help edit the writing for grammar, etc.

To this end, I spent this week porting the original game to a more recent Renpy build and updated the code to match our recent games. The result of this is that your existing saved games won't work on the new version of the game, but saves you make in the new version will span across the three episodes.

Since I'll have a reduced role in this game, I'm planning to do a few things in the spare time. I'll talk more about them in a later Progress report.
