So, I've got some ... news.
Although I've been making progress, I've been struggling with "Writing with Tara." After reflecting on why this is, I have come to realize that I'm uncomfortable with the point of the game.
Tara is basically me, and while I haven't had a problem with her in sexy weekly picts or the explicit Tara's Tales, the thought of people playing a game where they make choices to have sex with Tara is just ... a bridge too far.
So, I'm cancelling the Writing with Tara game. In the future I may write a "Tara's Tales" version of the story, but if I do, it will be an HTML story + images, not a game.
So, where do we go from here? I sprang this on Mortze today, and he's going to be on vacation next week. We're discussing options and will continue to discuss them when he gets back.
I will say that everything is on the table, including the continuation of his Star Wars game.
Once we've decided, I'll tell you folks.
In other news, every week $5 patrons get an image that Mortze made. I usually do a download with the images from that year but haven't done so for the last two and a half years. I've just put together a download of the images from 2022 and 2023 (so, up to last December). Today I'm going to make a post to $1 patrons with links to all of those yearly downloads.

We do understand, none of us would want to you to write something you aren't comfortable with, on a side-note, people have been commenting if Pandora could be revisited and I am pretty sure that its a fan fav. But maybe The characters from Redemption for Jessika could be revisited 👀

Agreed. The Star Wars Warrior's Heart had always so much potential, it would be perfect to continue it. In any case, this game should continue some time for the sake of completeness, so maybe that time is now?
The eternal dilemma and problem of how much of the Author should be in his (Her) work. I also admit, like other people posting their comments above, the anticipation of the next part of the Warrior's Heart is really huge.
I'm honestly kind of relieved. A little of Tara goes a long way. And anyway, we were away from Sangrive for so long that I was disappointed to come back to it only to hear that we wouldn't see it again for another long time. That said, I'd very much like to see the next chapter in your Star Wars fic. And I'm still waiting to revisit Pandora.
Allow me to put in a vote to continue Mortze's Star Wars. Or you could make a completely different character and use your ideas for "Writing with Tara" with her instead.
Understandable. I always felt like Tara was an avatar of you. I would love to get back into "TWH." But regardless, I look forward to the next project! 👍🏻
Adult Game Reviews recently posted on Patreon asking for examples of good adult game developers (i.e., those who are clearly not scammers), and I commented that Tora is one. You’ve always provided regular updates and been transparent about the process, which I appreciate not only as a fan, but a fellow creative person (in a different space) who’s been through some of the same struggles. Thank you for continuing to set a great example, and best of luck with whatever you decide to pursue next. 🙂

To be honest I was surprised that Tara was going to be the star of the story, for the reasons you said. I admit I'm disappointed but I DO UNDERSTAND.
