The Coastal Collection - Part Two
UPDATE 08/03 - It was brought to my attention that the outdoor seating catches alight from the fire pits very often. After a lot of research in game I have only managed to narrow it down to the outdoor retreat armchair and loveseats not being flammable, so I have been able to update those 2 items. However there isn't a single 3 seater sofa in a game that isn't flammable, so I would advise giving those a wide birth when using with a fire pit 🔥
I've updated the download links, so you can replace the old files with the new. And don't worry all your existing chairs will still be where you placed them when you reopen your game :)

Its been a labour of love during the shorter month of February, but I'm excited to finally be able to share the second instalment of the Coastal Collection! This part focuses in on the Coastal outdoors. There were so many build items that I wanted to include in part one, that I actually decided to dedicate an entire extra month to get all the items on the original list...I still didn't achieve the goal, but I came pretty close!
The highlight of the month for me was the creation of the playhouse. It took 5 days to complete from start to finish, but I was so happy with the end result and its just one of those once in a lifetime items that shall never be repeated again, so its worth putting all that effort into.
There are quite a few items that do have pack requirements this month as there are mostly activity items for you toddlers, kids and soon to be introduced infants. The Sand Pit works just like a rug and can be placed anywhere you wish. Sand can be painted on the terrain to add the functionality of a real sand pit if you own the Island Living EP or if you only have Base Game it can be a great decorative piece for story telling. The Playhouse requires Dream Home Decorator as it works just like the play tent that was introduced in that pack. Lastly the Fire Pit requires Outdoor Retreat for full functionality.
You can find the majority of the items by searching COASTAL in the BB catalogue, however these will not show the column & 2 wallpapers that are included in the set.

As per usual textures are linked between similar items, so if you download the unmerged file, make sure to include all items from that family, so the textures appear correctly in your game

Yes it’s from my Octave Collection. Comes with a matching plain floorboard & this is the decorative trim for it
Hi, I seem to keep getting a last exception for the merged file, so I downloaded the umnerged version and still got a last exception for the sofa and loveseat.
Not had any other reports of this and everything works perfectly in my game. So I would suggest making sure that you game is updated to the latest patch and also that your mods are up to date as they can also cause issues with cc
hey! i've noticed that ever since the dx11 update that one of the wallpapers in this set, 'Coastal Siding', has been completely broken for me. I have ran batch fixes on sims 4 studio many times, yet for some reason, this wallpaper remains broken while the others are fine. is there anything else i can do? thanks :)
Same, it works for medium height walls but not for short or tall walls and I tried everything. It's my favorite siding as well.

Green fence wont show up in game for me
Search by the set name to easily find them in the catalogue. They are also in the fence category, but aren’t visible if you have the draw a fence option selected, as they are fences pieces that need to be placed
I wish the fences also came in the fence category so I could put it on round decks.
Is it possible to just download the kids house separate?
I'm sorry to bother you, but there seems to be a problem with Outdoor_Loveseat and Outdoor_Sofa. Clicking on their option does not allow them to sit down. I have tried using S4S to fix it and have tried downloading again multiple times, but it has not solved the problem. I haven't encountered this issue with my other furniture mods, so I don't know what happened and can only seek your help. I hope the translation software can correctly express my meaning

Hi i love the wallpaper in this and I use it all the time but after the update only question marks shows up when I try to apply it on short walls. Idk if something is wrong with my game or if the cc is broken?
hey! i had the same issue, if you changed your properties with the new update the -dx11 whatever is was ( i apologize ) and just erase it, when you relaunch your game it fixes it ! :)

The fences, rails and gate don’t work properly and are individual objects - is that how they’re supposed to be?

Hello Harrie, I was placing the siding down on my lot and it has a weird visual glitch. There is like a spider web of vines on it no matter what swatch I select. It also occured on the porch fencing. If you would like I can send you a screenshot.

Thank you for this beautiful extension to coastal part 1 💚 The fence is great and the playhouse super cute! Only with the stair railing I absolutely can not cope 🤷🏼♀️ No matter if different foundation heights, with f5 or alt.... It doesn't fit😔
its half a tile high which means you need to use the foundation height in increments of 2. raise it up by 2 as a minimum and they will always fit without using alt. just need to raise up with the 9 key 5 times to make the railing continue to the next half tile
