The Coastal Collection - Part One
Happy Friday Everyone!
I'm super excited to be able to share the first part of the Coastal Collection with you all. This has been an absolute labour of love over the course of January to get this first set completed. Never before have I had so many ideas that I wanted to fit into a set & although I couldn't fit it all into this month I can safely say that there are many more months to come with the set, so I can keep ticking more and more items off the list.
This first month focuses on build items, however there will be a 2nd part to the build items coming next month along with activities for the garden. There are also plans for of course a kitchen, but also a kids set to add to the much anticipated infant patch & new EP releasing in March.
I usually list out all of the items included in the set individually, but there are 55 items and we would be here all week!
In summary the set includes:
22 Windows (Georgian, craftsman & cottage styles)
24 Doors (front doors, cottage doors, French doors, interior doors & archways)
6 Shutters (3 heights, left & right options)
3 Window Boxes (1, 2 & 3 tiles wide)
As per usual textures are linked between similar items, so if you download the unmerged file, make sure to include all items from that family, so the textures appear correctly in your game

Hi, is it only me who can not place the doors with windows or the archways?
Hi Harrie! Don't mind that I am so late to this conversation! I was wondering if you would ever consider releasing a version of the cottage style doors for medium height walls? These windows and doors are my FAVORITE to use when building in any world but always wish for the solid single door in medium height! Thank you for all you do for the Sims 4 community!!!
hi, i got a simbbudy warning for the merged file saying that my game wouldn't be able to start with the file due to it being corrupted, so i downloaded the unmerged version to see what was happening but it turns out that that one is also corrupted and i can't even extract it. it would be completely understandable if you didn't want or didn't know how to fix that, but i'm leaving this here anyways.
Nothing wrong with the downloads. If your game tells you it can’t open it’s because you are trying to drag too many new items into your mods folder at once usually. It doesn’t like entire folders that are already created to be dragged into it
I love this set, but I'm sad the windows and doors don't come in a tall option for tall walls. It's frustrating to try to use them.
The Georgian windows and doors are designed for medium and tall walls. The cottage style windows for the short wall height
hii after the latest update i haven't been able to get your cc to work. For some context, i have downloaded all of them unmeged and from your patreon/here, and i have put them under 2 folders in the mods folder. But when i open the game i cant find a single one of your cc. I have been downloading cc for a while, so i am really confused by why they don't work. If anyone have some tips and tricks I'm open to try, but if its a problem that's caused because of the update (the one with all the pride flags and beds) i would hope that you (aka Harrie) would update them. BTW i love your cc i literately cant play the game without them, that's why i hope you could fix them if its not a problem on my side <3 English is not my first language and my keyboard on my computer is set at an other language so please ignore spelling errors if there's any because all of the words have an red line under them because, like i said is set at another language so i cant see if they are spelt wrong

Me too! The siding is acting all wonky: works on the bottom floor but nowhere else. Which stinks because this is my favorite set.

I love the doors but recently the short doors have started showing a purple gradient colour with a ? on them - the other doors in the set are fine - any ideas?
yes you don't have the door that contains the textures in your game. You nned to put in all doors from a family to make sure you have the textures required

Hi Harrie, have you thought about making a laundry room/utility room set? (washer and dryer, broom, detergent, furnace, storage bins etc.)

I am using these and love how they look in the game! The only thing I am missing is a single french door with the transom for medium-height builds, so they match the transomed front door and archways. I especially love the light blue and sea green colorations, as well as the lighter wood tones--so gorgeous! The shutters are everything! Thank you for your hard work and creativity. Oh, and the window boxes <3 Best I've seen in the game; so lovely!
