No man can kill me ... part 3 :D
The iconic movie prop part of the month came early :D
And after the 2 weapons, it was pretty clear this one had to be made :D
Before I continue - the February folder has been sent, you will find that model in there ( we are makers tier member) , and everything else i release this month :)
Ok back to the Witch king's crown :)
I did quite some effort to make the shape and proportions as close as possible to the real deal. I've seen quite a few models, but the eyes, forehead, cheeks, all of these felt very off, so I hope you will find my version to your liking :) I also did my best to create a printable textured version, to make it even closer to the real deal, and this one is printing right now, and i have to say, it's quite badass :D
The entire thing is 3 mm thick, so it's not too heavy. and the spikes can be printed without support, just make sure to rotate the parts where there could be overhangs to your cooling vent.
Included are:
- Fully combined option - clean and textured versions
- split into parts option - clean and textured versions
- split into parts presliced for small printers option - clean and textured versions
- crown spikes split version for supportless printing
the Crown spikes are all a tiny bit different so make sure to put the right one into the right slot (#1 starting at right eye, all the way around)
Happy printing :)

How do you gain access to the file?
If you are at the "we are makers" tier, the folder is in your inbox :) FEBRUARY 2024 folder. If you still csnt find it, please drop me a message i will resend it :)
All that's missing are the shoulders, gauntlets and boots. :)
And those are the parts i have trouble finding good references :/ he's always covered up , and the "official" statues are each diferent so not sure what to think of that :D
This is awesome!! Hey any chance you can tell me what the next BYOB is gonna be?
One step at a time :) but soon :)
This is beautiful work. I wonder if there is any detailed description of the Witch Kings armor in Tolkien's other writings. Either way, I love your work as I have always been a LOTR and Star Wars fan.
HAHA YES!
This is great! I recently built one of the other versions, eyes didn’t match up. Super happy to see you putting a better model out there. Can’t wait to print it
happy to hear :) i test printed fw parts, and so far it looks great :)
Very cool my man!!!!! You doing the rest of the armor? I love all these pieces and it would be so badass to have the whole kit
it would, but unfortenatelly i dont have any good references, there are many diferent variations and interpretations out there, but nothing official, so close to impossible to know what's accurate and what is not and what the parts look like as most of it is covered with his outfit
Merci pour le partage
my pleasure :)
