ROMAN INFANTRY ARMOR
The Roman infantry armor is here :)
It all started quite a while ago, inspired by one of the AI generated images.
The Roman infantry helmet was quite popular and one of the most badass helmets out there if i may say so myself, so i'm proud to show you the roman infantry armor :)
There is no AI generated art to use on the armor design, so it's all fully created by me with no reference images in mind - i hope i did somewhat met your expectations, but that's how i envisioned the Roman infantry trooper
You can combine the armor with a military scarf or cape for some more badass looks, and I'm sure you will make it even more awesome.
DESIGN BREAKDOWN:
The trooper doesn't have a jetpack but something I call "booster" . They are designed onto his back plate and shins, and they would allow the trooper fast, agile jumps, movements, dodge etc.
I designed a cutout for electronics for those parts ( led's or smoke -your choice ofc :) ) , and on the torso plate i've also made them slightly thicker ( yes, i listen to your requests :) - many many of you asked for the plates to be thicker on our heavy armors so they have the heavy feel)
From the helmet over the shoulder, vambrace and hand plate there is a Roman inspired design that in my mind would fit our character. All the tech stuff our character would control on the suit would be done via helmets so there is no need for outer buttons/switches on the "gauntlets' ', so instead our character has the artsy vambrace that he uses as shield.
There are cutouts for leather straps so you can secure them around your arm.
The bicep shield is made from 3 separate pieces, so adding straps to that will allow you to secure it more nicely to your bicep/arm shape.
The chest piece is somewhat "customizable", at the center of the chest armor there is a chest plate slot. I added 1 of my designs and 1 blank so you can customize your chest plates. Those are used to tell the battalions apart, or clans or trooper units.
I plan to give our character quite a few weapons, so please kindly ask for a bit more patience on that. I'm working on weapons now , and they will be added soon as well :) ( most likely at the beginning of next month) ) :)
So here it is, the Roman infantry armor set, all done and ready to be printed :)

Does this set include the helmet as well? Would love to print for Halloween - as a member for 1 month so far, is there a discount since I haven't hit the 3 month mark just yet?
It does, yes there is a 40% discount for members or 35 for youngling "ill send over thr code" :)

thank you :) this one was a combination of zbrush, blender, fusion, photoshop, ilustrator, and i did some sketching on my ipad before i went into 3d

It was a strong contender for a future suit for me or Jaces' HAVOC suit. Just shown to my Son and now I have to make 2. My Ender 3 is already being slapped sideways,it is really going to throw it toys out of it's pram now.
Absolutely beyond anything i had envisioned....! Now just have to decide...the purple of the Praetorian Guard or the red of the Legions....maybe both? Lol
This was my train of thought aswell,looking at some Roman Praetorian pics it would just require the change of colour of the softparts,and even 2 sets of mohawk to change between them.

Absolutely incredible. Any chance of a cool shield design going with the weapons
to be honest i dont think there will be a shield bcs it might be too impractical to print and put toegether, it would have to be quite a large shield, so not sure how i feel about it just yet :) might revisit the idea after the weapons :)

Phone slot would of been nice on the vambrace. But I'm in no way disappointed by this. Epic work as always.
was thinking about it, but then the problems startet adding up - what phone ? what size ? how do we make it compatible with multiple phones ? where do the edges end up, what happens if its scaled up/down ? , it was just too much things , bcs if i added just 1 version of the phone i knew most people would not be happy with it :D

Outstanding! Do you imagine they use blaster rifles or swords and shields?
shield might be a bit unpractical to print/carry arround, so at the moment i have a dagger and blaster rifle in mind, but im also leaning towards the sword allot as well :D
