Batman baton functionality test

Here it is, all parts printed, and tested, and it works just as intendeed.

The middle screw mechanism works great, so does the screws on the side

One thing i have forgot to mention is - the left baton "body 1 and 2" screw clockwise, while on the right one they screw counter clockwise - i've added a photo for that to the folder as well :)

I used 4 rubberbands for the inside and that seems to be the perfect tension to bring the chain back into the handles.

The chain is printed in place, inspired by a designed called "sal" on thingi - however i wanted a chain thats a bit less low poly, with i higher success rate, so i designed my own - oyu can print the chain in place and just break it loose :)

I just joined and this thing is awesome! About to print on heavily modified Ender 3. I am assuming this needs supports when printed standing up?

no supports needed on any part :)

I'll send you a picture of it in a dm. It's all petg and broke in the valley of the thread. Not really any infill, it's all walls right there.

Can we get a modification to this where the joining threads have a little bit of a thicker wall? I just dropped mine and it split right in a thread. There should be plenty of room for the chain with a slightly thicker wall.

Can you show me where/how it broke. ? Ive been swinging mine and dropping it and its still intact :D i I dont mind the update tho i just wanna see how it broke bcs it may not be wall thickness issue :) How many parameters and infill did you use ? As well what filament ? :)
