Invincible - Mark
As some of you know i have been meaning to jump into making 1/12 figurines/sculptures for a while. One thing preventing me was i wasnt hapy with my skills and was still practicing. So as i felt more comfortable with my sculpting skills i have decided to make a start-to-finish project just so i can put that progress to the test.
So, not to put on too heavy presure on my self right from the start i decided to sculpt one of the most easiest characthers i could think off, and that was Mark from Invincible ( i promise i wasnt biased due to the name :D :D ) If you didnt watch Invincible you should, its a great show, full of surpises (end of episode 1 :D ) :D At some point i wanna make Omni man as well, but thats a story for another time.
Basiclly i wanted to test out my sculpt on a project so i can get some feeback from you. Making this project i got more familliar with some of my sculpting strength and weaknesses and noticed wich areas to practice more, but basiclly i wanted to give it a test run before i now jump into FINALLY making HEAVY INFANTRY MANDALORIAN 1/12 figurine/sculpture :D and i’ll make the havoc squad as well to go along with our armor builds :)
Also, not to worry, props are still my #1 great love and i will not be abandoning those, i love making props, i just thought i’d mix up the content a bit as i move along in this 3d journey :D
3d models are split to parts, and there is also a fully combined body, and the stand is seperated with the pin to attach the character to.
Hope you like it, i know its not perfect, so dont be too harsh in the judgement department, but i will apprecaite an honest feedback, as thats the only way for a person to improve :)
Oh, and last but not least, I wish you all a nice and fun weekend :)

Marko. Any thoughts on continuing this? I think it would be awesome to see an invincible mask prop.
i always tho9ught it was just cloth with glasses , not sure how that would function as a prop , but maybe im thinking the wrong way :D
Looks good, definitely like the statue direction
glad to hear :)
When you make HIM, can you give him interchangeable hands?
i have to figure out the pose first. so far interchangable arms, ball join arms, ball joint head, interchangable hands were requested so i feel like thats making it 1000000x harder and more complicated than it needs to be so no sure how to balance it all out and how long it would take to even make something like that :D I'll know more when i start making it :D
Looks so goood!
Happy to hear :D was a bit worried its gonna be a mess xdxd
Good choice on the way it's split and it looks fine to me. Only thing I can think of to make it a little more unique is giving your figurines an alternative ball jointed neck and head along with the fixed head and neck. That way if people want they can change where the head is looking (then the statue could be a landing when he's looking down or a take off when he's looking up, etc). A second benefit of this would be that the ball jointed heads could also be used for action figure customisation (In this case you could get a Marvel Legends figure as a base, print the head and swap it with the ML figure, and then paint it all up). Looking forward to seeing what figurines you do in the future!
Thank you for the input :) i believe tgode ball joins are a bitnmore complicate dto make but i will look into it, having exhangsble head or limbs is a good idea :)
