DARKSABER HILT with stand - Jan/feb reward
Aaaaand another one up.
Darksaber hilt. I have seen a few of those out there, but here's whats diferent about this one:
Oh, note this is just the hilt, im still figuring out how to make the blade work, then i'll add that one as well
so where were we ? oh yeah, whats diferent ?
- it has both clean and textured shell (3d printable textured grip)
- made to fit electronics/led's inside
- it has a 3d printable stand that can be printed without supports
- made to fit M3 screws/bolts so you can access electronics/led's in the upper body shell
- removable lower body shell - so you can access electronics or add soemthing for stability (we'll most likely use those more once the blade is ready)
- it is made to be both FDM and resin compatible, and not only compatible but you are welcome to print FDM inner parts for stability, and shell in resin for a nicer look
Since im uploading this on the 31st, i'll keep it available throughout february as well ;)

Any movement on getting that blade figured out? I plan on adding this to my list and would love to get the blade lit up and working.
my entire focus at the moment is bo katan, thats the only project i have been staring at for the past 7 days XD im slicing the jetpack for printing right now, so it should be done soon i hopeXD
We can diacuss printing orientation even more in the FB group, see what others have to say as well, but a single piece will require quite a large amount of supports due to its weird shape. Might not be a bad idea to try to print it on the side, but need to test it out.
it can be printed standing straight up with minimal supports will have this done by tomorrow night. not including the stand will take another day.

To be honest I just noticed the design was a few pieces so works well - but always open to more designs
Currently printing the blaster, but damn you I think this may be next! Also - I'd consider modding the stand to hold other sabers. Nothing to do with my collection could use stands :D
actually making some saber stands is a great suggestion :D

Will the blade be made to fit this hilt? Or should I wait to print until the blade comes out as there will be changes?
i have no idea just yet. still figuring out this stuff. idealy i would like for it to be atachable, but that might be too weak
When can I get the complete bokan tan full body armor？
making full body armors alongside other models is ofc very time consuming, there are few more parts left, and it will be uploaded soon. after that i will send it to everyones inbox so you wont miss anything.
