Predator Badlands Heat sword assembly
Finally I managed to print out and assemble the Predator Badlands Heatsword!
I know many of you had some questions about it, so we can use this post if you need any help — I’ll gladly answer any of your concerns.
I’ve also made a complete breakdown of the assembly process and how to use the LEDs.
For the build, the LEDs I used are 2.7 mm red LEDs with a remote controller.
I also decided to make a version that’s the most builder-friendly — Option 2 — LED strip placed in the center of the blade.
This one requires no soldering, no cutting, just a simple plug-in LED strip.
Quick heads-up: I made a rookie mistake on the first upload 😅
The grip part had an issue where you couldn’t insert the electronics because the internal opening was too narrow.
That has now been fixed and reuploaded in both STL and 3MF formats.
Just re-download the files and follow along — and you’ll be able to build your own Heatsword! :)
Happy printing and building guys :D

Part of me wants to try to use a D1 mini push button and battery instead of having to use the remote.
That was my plan as well, just going to cut a small negative spot in Orca to have a tiny push button on/off for power before it hits the 18650 case
I’m waiting for my battery casing to come in!!!! It’s ready to go!!!!
Hopefully it arrives soon :)
