Holoprojector 1 and 2 ready for download
First 2 holoprojectors are done!
As I mentioned earlier, this is just the beginning — more are definitely coming. These are the first two I managed to complete in a very short amount of time, so expect things to only grow from here!
Holoprojector 1:
This one's a bit larger and can be used as a desktop version (with a cable cutout in the back) or as a remote version if you add a small battery inside. I’ll post more about this soon — still waiting on a few parts to arrive! :)
This design also has something a little extra — I’ve made the holoplate translucent, allowing you to add a light source inside for a much more realistic hologram effect. It really brings it to life!
Holoprojector 2:
A super simple "Mini" version! Due to its size, it’s strictly desktop — but if you’ve got a portable power bank, you can easily take it with you anywhere.

And I’ve added 8 animations to get you started (that’s all I could manage in 2 days 😅) — but don’t worry, much more is coming!

depends on your patroen status - if you are a member at the "we are makers" tier for 3 months or longer you can get it as part of your old rewards if you are not you can buy the old models on Cults (info and discount code is in your patreon inbox) . if you need me to resend something, please let me know :)

How can I get the stl?
Any chance that the projector mount to base area can have more interface added? I have glued to the base but it is still fragile. Going to use this a table display on our 501st table at a con and I’m afraid it might last the weekend.

The hologram fans, do they need to be plugged in to use? This would be fun to carry around like a bounty pick.
they need a power source, but the holo 1 can carry a protable power bank - i am waiting on some cables to arrive and then i will show you this option as well :)

These look amazing! I'd be exceptionally grateful for a holoprojection of the Star Forge or a Star Forge map projection from the old KOTOR games. Hope springs eternal!

you should make a version that accommodates the bigger 3d fans like the 42 cm ones. idk if this would need a bigger base or just a taller arm that the fan attaches to. also a video on how to make your own holograms would be great and that way your patreon members can compile an archive that can be posted in your discord just like with the sound clips.
i have ordered the big ones - they work a bit diferentlly, its a standalone unit, i am awaiting on it to arrive for now so i can start working on it :)

I've actually been trying to create my own "holo video". I've been failing miserably but i also haven't put as much effort into it as i should. Now I've really got to put serious effort into it with this now.
once you see the instructiosn - making one is super easy - i made one myself where i recoredd myself, and it took like less than 10 minutes :)

There is no normal. This is a custom build. Having done many MM projects, I recommend following his instructions.

Aside from a big KUDOS to you, I'll be that one: What's the actual difference between 1 and 2? In both you say they're desktop but at the same time both can operate with battery, but with extra parts?! So what gives the difference then? Ty!

you can use anything, i just added 5 V led that we i use in all other projects - liek the one from the green lantern ring

Looking at the instruction images for holo 1, it might be just me but the large logo in the background makes it a bit difficult to make out. Not sure if you are willing to fade it into the background a bit more. For future items that is.
i feel terrible for having to do it that way, but it is something i mentioned in the last post - the has been a rise of people just taking my images and sharing them online anad pretending to sell models and scam customers, so sadly i have to do to somethign that will discourage them from continuing to do so - making it more faded is easier to just remove it - it is my opinion that it is still visible enough if you load them from the google drive with full res, but yeah, it is not ideal, but if people would just play nicelly it would not be needed at all :/
