Murderbot armor complete

It’s a wrap—Murderbot armor is done!

I’ve noticed I tend to jump from one thing to another, so I’m really going to try finishing full sets more often, like I did with this one. Feels good to see it all come together.

You know the drill—classic MysteryMakers features are all there. Clean designs, smart details, and the big parts are pre-sliced so they’re easier to print, especially on smaller machines.

One not-so-fun update: I’ve seen my photos get stolen and reposted on scam pages a lot lately. They just remove the logo and pretend it’s theirs. So I’ll have to start watermarking my pics going forward. It’s not ideal since it makes them a bit less clean, but at least it’s some protection.

Happy printing, guys.

Excited!!! I'm printing it now. Do you have the sizes of the magnets that you used? I forgot to ask you when the file dropped. Thanks:)

Oh we get a good view of his back in the latest episode around 17:15. Might need to update the armor.

hey I know it's been a while for this set, but any updates for the Mandalorian super commando?:)

M
MysteryMakers · June 27, 2025

to be honest i completelly forgot about it :D i get over 200 messages per day - 50-60 suggestions per week, and i do everythign alone, so i just keep jumping from one thing to another XD, i'll mark it down to try and wrap it up - i recall the supercommando doesnt have any real references for the gauntlets so i have to use outher sources, tahts why i have been postponing it

YES!!! I was watching a behind the scene of him suiting up and it looked dreadful. This design will great for those of us who don’t want a full body neoprene torture suit. Also, protect your work as best you can. We need you fat and happy with all our $$$$. You are awesome

M
MysteryMakers · June 25, 2025

haha yeah, i was watching some of thoe, and it was like mostly suit, so i figured i'd focus on some hard parts instead so we get at least a feel for the armor, wich in the end turned out quite well if i may say so :D hahah thank you:D

I can't tell you how excited I am for this. I've really been struggling to like the show, as I've been a massive Martha Wells fan, and have read the books many times. I have been frustrated with the adaption. So, here's another Halloween costume to make.

haha "luckly" for me this was the first time i heared about it , but yeah i bet it doesnt hold up to the books :D

Looks really good! Note the screen used suit is multi layer dye subbed neoprene, and there aren’t actually armor plates below the chest. (Careful weathering makes it look 3D). Most of the plates were cast in urethane rather than rigid. There’s also a urethane neck seal and spine plate.

M
MysteryMakers · June 25, 2025

ohy eah, the screen used one is something else :D i figured i'd just make the hard parts so we have templates to replicate it as best as we can... if we can :D
