Deadric Glass axe _ MM
Okay guys, here’s something you might not have expected…
I feel like we’re not using the filament print / resin print / resin cast combo enough!
Inspired by Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (yep, still love it! ) and some awesome concept art by Vitaly Muzyka, I wanted to create this Daedric Glass Axe combo weapon.
Really hope you like this one — and if you do, please let me know! I’ve already got some swords and other cool stuff in mind, but I’d love to hear your thoughts if i should continue making these kind of sets :)
Why do I call it a combo?
Well, I’ve added multiple parts for you to mix and match, so you can build the axe in four different configurations! (I'll let the photos do the talking )
The idea for the “glass” parts is that they’re printed in resin — I’ve designed the textures in a way that, once printed or cast in resin, they give off that awesome glass-like effect.

Have you thought about making a glass sword from the game or glass dagger? What about dragon bone armor and helmets? Light and heavy versions (Skyrim)

More Elder Scrolls Please! Keep going with the Deadric everything and Dragon bone everything. The Elder Scrolls games have always been my favorite.

Holy cow, Marko. Amazing! YES, more like this please. I know everyone doesn’t have a resin printer, but I appreciate you coming up with these projects that utilize both FDM and Resin. I for one need to utilize my resin printers for more than just character statues. :)

Intrigued by the glass effect, what type of resin did you use, can you add dye to the resin, or did it come that color?

i am still waitiing to find a decent one with a bigguer volume, my anycubic photon 1st gen, is tiny, and leaves layer marks XD
YES to anything Elder Scrolls. Absolutely beautiful. And if you get an itch to do more Magic the Gathering Planeswalker garb I'm down for that too!
