Gnoll Deathpledge - WIP
Hey folks! Here's my progress on the Gnoll Deathpledge :D Going for something more quiet and ominous on this character. Let me know what you think!

Nice! Don't think I've seen a Gnoll with a mask or helmet before. Always good to see something new.
Thanks ^^ Deathpledges are the only Gnolls that seem to consistently wear masks. They have such a peculiar design, I just had to make one :D

Well, the Witherling didn't get much love in the latest polls. Rot-Walker was chosen for the 5th entry in the end, though ;)
Love it! I agree with another post, it really tells a tale, provoking thought and emotion from the viewer. I love that the model is more contemplative rather than enraged. Makes it feel even more threatening and ominous.
Thanks ^^ That's exactly what I was going for. A character slowly walking forward from across the battlefield somehow feels more disturbing. As soon as I saw the basic character design for this class, I knew this is where I wanted to go ^^
I dig the baby monsters, but you have skill mate. I feel like it's wasted on them when your WIPs are like this.
Thanks man ^^ I see what you mean, though. Baby monsters are meant to be more funny and cartoonish. As a result they just don't convey the same thing as an epic hero with a big ass sword ;)
Yes!!!! I'm actually running the first session DMing and have plans for gnolls as a sort of "side quest" from the story and having some different looking gnolls will be GREAT!!
