Slight video delay
Apologies for the delay between uploads. I had a few days away with the Mrs last week and this week hasn’t been as productive as I’d have liked due to various interruptions culminating in today’s Liver Biopsy Redux, which was an all-day event.
The good news is that I’m well underway with the edit on the next video and it’s the first one I’ve recorded in my new studio space. This took longer than usual as a lot of the things I use were set up in, or geared for using in my other space. I’d still like to use both studios for a while, so this one is a whole new space rather than a transplant of the old one
I used this shoot as an opportunity to see what improvements were needed before I start on the next video. I suppose I could call this a ‘shakedown’ if I were more hip.
It turns out that there were quite a few issues, which gave me the excuse to shop for even more kit. I’ll also definitely be adjusting some lighting, camera and mic settings before making another video, things in this one are a bit odd in places, but also show promise
I’ll be editing all day tomorrow and possibly into Sunday, but as soon as the video is ready, whenever that is, you’ll get to see it first here.

Hope the biopsy went as smoothly as possible and that you’re getting some proper rest after the all-day ordeal. I find it completely unresonable that you haven't given your wife a tranquiliser gun loaded with insulin yet. Keep up the good work and get well, I do think of your welfare and hope everything turns out not to be too serious.

So far they are no wiser on whether anything is wrong with the liver than they were when all this started. These biopsy results will take a couple of weeks.

Discovering an appropriate comfort level with a new workspace is always a bit vexing, but at least it's mentally stimulating. I was beginning to worry for your well-being yesterday. Yeah, I had a thought yesterday about how Mat was doing. The NHS, for all its faults, will get him through this, with our support.
Take as long as you need, Matt! You deserve some free time that doesn't involve a medical procedure.
Most important is that you keep looking after yourself like this including some much needed relaxation time. Delayed videos are better than no videos at all caused by exhaustion or illness.

Hope you had a nice trip Mat. I took a ride on the Llandudno tram today and I recall the video that you made where you included your visit to it. Last time I went must have been 30 years ago. It hasn't changed. The visitors centre at the summit is like some sort of time warp haha.
Yes I’m trying to recall what video camera I used, I think it was the Ordro EP7. I remember that video took ages to make and I used multiple locations and it flopped. It solidified to me that odd mini camera reviews were no longer interesting to a wide audience.
