Still kicking
I’m still alive. I think I’m on that bit of the sickness slope just before officially “starting to feel a bit better”.
While I’ve been dead on the couch, the garden studio has been installed. They finished lunchtime today. I haven’t had a good look at it yet. There’s still plenty to do, most notably electricity hook up.
It’s going to be quite a few days before I can concentrate on anything properly. This post has taken the best part of an hour to write.
Thanks for all the well wishes, reading through them has revealed how widespread this flu strain is.

I would love it (when you are 100%) if the puppets filled it for you in a short video, saying you will be back soon etc lol.

I imagine Mat's hard at work preparing his new space and concentrating on a new video. My earlier fear was complications due to asthma and previous struggles with pneumonia.
Even though your recovering .. rest assured your old videos still being watched. Just watching the auto chess ones again.

Me and my Wife had it a few weeks back, certainly lingers on a bit, went to the to my doctors about it and the doctor was off sick with it, so had to see the nurse 😆, hope yours clears up soon matt.

Mat, I don't pay you to sit on the sofa all day, see me in my office first thing Monday morning for a little chat. Illness is no excuse for a lack of content, if you're dead then i expect only a slight reduction in output but you really should be sending updates from the afterlife. Cuh, what do I expect from a bloke who uses a cassette tape as an amplifier, SA-90 type II, not even a metal one.

Unfortunate you are unwell, however glad you made the effort to keep us all updated- those that give a crap about you essentially. Hope you are 100% soon and best of luck with new studio digs.

We had it just before Christmas. It took us a month to feel properly better. Don't start again until you feel 95% fit and your enthusiasm returns. Sending you best wishes, Stephen.

Got the flu around the 4th of Feb and its been a slow recovery. I can honestly say I'm feeling close to 100% and starting to get a desire to hit the gym again. Get well soon!

Thanks for the update. I took sick two days last week and been working from home. Still pounding headaches.
You've got something to look forward to then. Very nice. Do take it somewhat easy, this flu is a rough one, it's only since last week that I feel like I'm truly out of it and it's been almost 6 weeks now.
Don’t try to rush anything. Take plenty of time to regain your health and your strength. I thought of you a few times today , hoping you were somewhat recovering. I did not even think of the pope once, but now I did do, of course. Anyway take care.

My entire family is vegetating as a result of this flulike illness. It has meant working from home though which is at least warm and cheap. Get well soon and can’t wait to see how the sausage is made so to speak with the new studio tour.
Sounds like the strain I had at Christmas - took a good two weeks to get over. Rest for as long as it takes! Glad you’re on the mend.
