I'd like to see a proper go at Wonderboy 3, FM sound enabled if on SMS or you could go with the Turbografx version called Dragon's Curse. Both versions are good. I know you played a bit of the SMS one but didn't get far. Another choice could be Phantasy Star 1 and play till you recruit Odin, shouldn't take too long... well if you know what you're doing lol. I know you love PS2 but not sure if you ever played the first game, if not, I'll help with the mission. First grab the laconian pot in the town where you start, next grind money to buy the secrets (road pass) from the town to the east, fly to Motavia and trade the pot for Myau. Buy a flashlight and return to the cave below the first town you start in and find Odin. Easy!
