HARRY MACK

Yo!

. . . . So. . .

At the end of last year, the living legend that is Harry Mack came to a funky little location I'd sorted in Central London with some help from the lovely people at Monkey Shoulder. An intimate little bar, under a stair well in soho with an exclusive crowd of friends and patrons, Harry's road crew, and no rehearsal. We also had the honour of being joined by my good friend LEEN, the UK's greatest living freestyle MC. This clip shows what happens when two of the greatest talents in the history of the art-form meet via freestyle and bond through art, entirely in rhyme. I'm so honoured I could host this.

Harry had been filming for his "guerilla bars" series on the streets of london all day, but he showed up energised and just ready to just flow. . . insane. He's a monster. The energy was ridiculous and I will never forget this session. Luckily the whole thing was recorded. Harry's crew put up their favourite 20 minutes of it on their channel but to be honest, despite the fact that it was almost 2 hours of unrehearsed, real-time, live-produced, free-styled music, ALL OF IT IS ABSOLUTE FIRE!

I'll be posting it in bite-size chunks over the next few weeks, but if you can't wait, I will be posting the whole thing in it's entirety, here, exclusively for patrons!

I've put together lots of freestyle events over the years but this felt particularly special. I'm so glad I get to share it with you.

Hope you're good. Thanks to you guys I'm able to keep doing this shit. . . Stay inspired. Create your destiny. . . blarf.

Sincerely,

Burtründ Melchfnart
